6. Father, many times I have no idea where my life is
headed, it seems like my life is spinning out of
control most of the times.
Situations come my way that I cannot face,
decisions need to be made and I do not know which
is the right choice.
Obstacles seem insurmountable, enemies seem
unbeaten. I feel scared and alone.
But God…You are the author and finisher of my
faith.
7. ANGEL OF GOD
Angel of God, my Guardian dear, to whom His
love commits me here, ever this day be at my
side, to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.
From sinful stain, do keep me free; at the hour of
my death, my guardian be. O great saint whose
name I bear, protect me, pray for me, that like
you I may serve God faithfully here on earth and
glorify Him eternally in heaven. Amen.
8. PRAYER TO ST. MICHAEL THE
ARCHANGEL
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in
battle. Be our defense against the
wickedness and snares of the Devil. May
God rebuke him, we humbly pray, do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the
power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all
the evil spirits, who prowl about the world
9. Lord help me spread Your fragrance
everywhere I go. Put Your arms around the
children and families in extreme poverty so
they feel Your comfort and hope. Meet their
needs both physically and spiritually. All these I
ask through Jesus Christ, Your Son, and
through the intercession of our Blessed Mother
Mary and Venerable Ignacia del Espiritu
Santo. Amen.
13. How can we imitate
Christ’s poverty of
Spirit?

21. 1.After God created the first
humans, what did He command
them to be or to do?
2.Why do you think God gave the
responsibility take care of
the creation to humans?
22. THE THIRD BEATITUDE:
A TEACHING ON HUMILITY
Humility is realizing that all
our gifts and blessings are
given to us by God. There is
nothing arrogant or self-
righteous about someone who is
truly humble. Furthermore, when
we are humble, we acquire an
inner peace that allows us to do
the will of God.
23. The meek are the humble. The meek are
obedient and submissive to the will of
God. Jesus was
― meek and humble of heart (Matthew
11:29), and this is what Christians are
called to strive for. While those that
― “inherit the earth” are often thought to
be the bold, those that submit to a
greater will than their own will
ultimately inherit the true riches of the
earth.
24. Humility is such a beautiful
virtue. The more we grow in it, the
more we are at peace and able to
grow closer to God. As Donald De
Marco writes, ― Humility is the
mother of many virtues, because
from it knowledge, realism,
honesty, strength, and dedication
are born.
25. 3 ideas to help you grow in humility:
1. Be quick to recognize others over yourself.
In our pride, we often want recognition for
things we do—our accomplishments, good
deeds, etc. One way to grow in humility is to
give recognition to a classmate, coworker,
fellow ministry worker, etc. instead of seeking
recognition for something for yourself.
26. 2. Thank God. Remember that the talents
and gifts you have are given to you by
God. He has helped you achieve your
successes and accolades. So make sure to
thank Him when you are recognized for
some achievement or given praise,
instead of accepting all congratulations
for yourself.
27. 3. Be realistic. Practice being honest
with yourself about your own
strengths and weaknesses. When we
grow in self-awareness, we grow in
humility.
33. Thank you, Lord, that You truly are the Father
of mercies and God of all comfort, and I pray
that You used me as an instrument to comfort
and solace to others, who suffers poverty in
the most trying times. This I ask through the
intercession of our Mother Mary and
protection of Venerable Ignacia Del Espiritu
Santo. Amen.
