8. God’s greatest gift to us is
our parents, and we are
encouraged to respect and
revere this as a core human
and Christian virtue.
We should honor our
parents to whom we owe life
and who have handed on to us
the knowledge of God.

9. The fourth commandment is addressed expressly
to children in their relationship to their father and mother,
because this relationship is the most universal. It likewise
concerns the ties of kinship between members of the
extended family. It requires honor, affection, and
gratitude toward elders and ancestors.

The class will be grouped into 2. Then show your little
ways of honoring your parents. You are all free to
choose, how will you present your ideas. You may
present it in through a song, a poem, spoken poetry or
role play. Each group will be given 5-10 minutes to
come up with the idea and another 2 minutes to
present it to the class. Rubrics will be given for you to
rate the other group as well as your group.
