petition is asking forgiveness... it is a
prerequisite for righteous and pure prayer.
5. 3) Prayer of Intercession

another person

God.

recognizes most immediately that God is
God.

forms of prayer: it is “pure offering” of the
whole Body of Christ to the glory of God’s

10. I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven
and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was
conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered
under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He
descended into hell on the third day he rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of
GOD the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the
living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic
Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the
resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
THE APOSTLES CREED
11. Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be
Thy name; Thy kingdom come Thy will be done on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive
those who trespass against us; and lead us not
into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen.
THE OUR FATHER
12. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit
of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray
for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
HAIL MARY

the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now,

fires of hell, and bring all souls into heaven,
especially those who need most of Your Divine
mercy.

and to the whole world.
THE FATIMA PRAYER
15. Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, Hail our life,
our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor
banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our
sighs mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn
then, O most gracious advocate, Your eyes of mercy
towards us, and after this our exile show unto us the
blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving,
O sweet Virgin Mary.
HAIL HOLY QUEEN
16. Leader: Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
Response: That we may be made worthy of the
promises of Christ.
17. O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life,
death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the
rewards of eternal life. Grant, we beseech You,
that meditating upon these mysteries of the most
Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may
imitate what they contain and obtain what they
promise, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.
Let us pray:
18. Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that
never was it known that anyone who fled to your
protection, implored your help, or sought your
intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this
confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my
Mother. To you I come, before You I stand, sinful
and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear
and answer me. Amen.

Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and will be
forever and ever. Amen.
24. You died, Jesus, but the source of life flowed out for souls and the
ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fountain of Life,
immeasurable Divine Mercy, cover the whole world and empty Yourself
out upon us. O Blood and Water, which flowed out from the Heart of
Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us
and the whole world. (3x)
Jesus King of Mercy, we Trust in you!
DIVINE MERCY 3 O'CLOCK PRAYER
25. O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended
You and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss
of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because
they offend You, my God, who are all good and
deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help
of Your grace, to confess my sins to do penance and to
amend my life. Amen.
ACT OF CONTRITION

here on Earth and glorify Him eternally in heaven.
