1 INTRODUCTION
Since India secured independence, sea change has taken place and Banking
concepts have undergone several improvements over years. When large and mass
retirements are taking place in the Banking industry and younger generation is
occupying key positions, it may be interesting to travel through the development of the
Banking industry.
This chapter deals with analysis and interpretation of data. Data analysis is a
process in which collected or available data is analyzed by following theoretical
aspects related to the study and applying suitable method being used. The raw data
will be edited and tabulated by the researcher as per the requirements of the study.
For the purpose of analyzing data for the study some accounting and statistical tools
and techniques will be adopted by the researcher.
Here in this particular chapter the researcher will go for using accounting
and statistical tools and techniques like trend analysis, and chi-square test. The
theoretical aspect of tools and techniques is as follows, which will be useful before
analyzing the data. For data analysis and interpretation the researcher has applied
accounting and statistical tools. For hypothesis testing chi-square test has been
applied.

When large and mass retirements are taking place in the Banking industry and younger generation is occupying key positions, it may be interesting to travel through the development of the Banking industry. This chapter deals with analysis and interpretation of data. Data analysis is a process in which collected or available data is analyzed by following theoretical aspects related to the study and applying suitable method being used. The raw data will be edited and tabulated by the researcher as per the requirements of the study. For the purpose of analyzing data for the study some accounting and statistical tools and techniques will be adopted by the researcher. Here in this particular chapter the researcher will go for using accounting and statistical tools and techniques like trend analysis, and chi-square test.
