Cheap Essays
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Cheap Essays" may initially seem like a straightforward task,
but delving into the intricacies of this subject reveals a complexity that demands careful
consideration. The challenge lies not only in exploring the concept of affordability in essay
writing but also in navigating the ethical implications associated with seeking budget-friendly
solutions.
One must grapple with the paradoxical nature of "cheap essays." On one hand, there is a genuine
need for accessible academic assistance, especially for students facing financial constraints. On
the other hand, the term "cheap" can carry negative connotations, suggesting a compromise in
quality or the potential for plagiarism. Balancing these conflicting aspects requires a nuanced
approach to present a fair and comprehensive view.
Research becomes a crucial component of the writing process, as it involves not only identifying
affordable essay writing services but also scrutinizing their legitimacy and reputation.
Distinguishing between genuine platforms offering reasonable prices and those engaging in
unethical practices adds another layer of complexity. Moreover, evaluating the reliability of
sources discussing the topic is essential to present a well-informed and unbiased perspective.
Addressing the ethical concerns surrounding cheap essays introduces a moral dimension to the
essay. Is the pursuit of budget-friendly options a responsible choice, or does it inadvertently
encourage academic dishonesty? Examining both sides of the argument requires a careful
examination of the consequences of seeking cost-effective solutions in the academic realm.
Furthermore, the essay should consider the potential impact on the quality of education and the
long-term implications for students who opt for cheaper writing services. Are they sacrificing
their own learning experience, and does this compromise their academic integrity? These
questions delve into broader issues related to the education system and the ethical boundaries of
seeking external assistance.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of "Cheap Essays" necessitates a thorough
exploration of affordability, ethical considerations, and the broader implications for students. The
challenge lies not only in presenting a well-reasoned argument but also in navigating the delicate
balance between cost and quality. As with any academic endeavor, a nuanced and informed
approach is crucial to providing a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
For those seeking assistance with essays, a variety of resources are available, including online
platforms like HelpWriting.net. These services offer a range of essay-related support, from
topic selection to writing assistance, providing an option for those who may require additional

Polar Bay Research Paper
Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is a spectacular national park in the
Alaskan wilderness. It is mainly located in Gustavus, Alaska which is near Juneau,
Alaska. The park itself relative to Alaska is located on the Southeastern tip of Alaska
which borders Canada. The people that pushed for this area to become a national park
are the native Tlingit tribe, Alaskasettlers, and explorers who explored these areas.
The reason this land had to become a national park is to protect the 8 different
glaciers, and the extreme populations of wildlife and floral. The process for Glacier
Bay National Park and Preserve took place over a span of many years. It began in
1925 when it was named a national monument, but 50 years later it was named...

In summer the weather in all areas of the park is extremely similar. It is typically 5
to 75 degrees with constant, light rain and about 10 to 15 inches of rain each
summer. As spring or fall come each year the weather slowly becomes more
severe. At sea level in the park weather is usually between 30 to 60 degrees with
heavy amount of rain. During these times of the year in the mountains and on
glaciers there is cold temperatures at a constant 30 to 40 degrees and snowfall every
day. In spring and fall rainfall is typically between 20 to 25 inches each year. When
it is winter temperatures reach below 30 degrees and even can range in the
negatives. The mountain and glaciers face extreme snowfall and temperatures. At
sea level in the winter there is primarily 30 to 40 degrees with changes between
snowfall and rainfall. In the winger Glacier Bay usually has anywhere between 30
and 40 inches of rainfall each year. Throughout the year Glacier Bay sees anywhere
from 70 inches of rainfall and up. Each season provides a unique opportunity to see
something special. For example in winter you can see the spectacular mountain
ranges flourishing with snow. During spring and fall you can walk across
humongous icy glaciers. Also during summer whales migrate to Glacier Bay and
whale watching is extremely popular in this time. Glacier Bay is extremely

How I Learned How To Read A Book Analysis
I had so many events growing up as a kid but the most of it all would be learning how
to read. Once upon a time in my life, I had no idea about how to write let alone know
how to read a book. Personally, I was taught how to read by an uncle called Isaac.
This uncle would always sit me down at home to teach me how to read whether I felt
like readingor not. You can call it home education. I remember vividly of how Uncle
Ike as we the kids call him especially me would always buy story books from town
and would see to it that I read it but the best of it all is about taking you to a trip or
buying you some clothes if I was able to read it properly and with much fluidity of
the words. At first, I use to battle with myself when reading because I felt I was in a
different world aside being in my normal world all because of how difficult reading
was to me. Uncle Ike would always beat me if I read or pronounce a sentence or a
word wrongly.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Pardon me if I don t mention the tittle of the story book because it s really been ages
so I cannot recollect the name of the book. He sat me down and handed the story
book to me and demanded I read to his hearing and also to make sure I understood
the book I was reading. As young as I was, I got a bit nervous and started to read
aloud. I remember whiles reading I came across some words like the and their and
pronouncing those words was very tough for me but I remember my uncle
constantly taught me how to say it right. Since I was nervous, I had to try and
learn it the hard way since I didn t wanted to be beaten. Finally, I got use to the words
of the book as time progressed and started developing a little appetite for reading. In
conclusion, I would say my experience on learning how to read was full of cheer and
Taking a Look at the Earth s Biosphere
The Earth s biosphere is considered to be the most inclusive layer on the planet;
simply put, the biosphere is where life happens. What makes the biosphere so
exceptional is the fact that there is no record of life existing anywhere else in space.
All of the organisms that inhibit the biosphere impact it in some way. However,
humans have the largest impact on the biosphere through the means of
industrialization, reproduction, and consumption. As with all of the other organisms
inhibiting the biosphere, humans have basic needs in order to thrive. We need
habitats, protection, reproductive success, and sustenance. However, unlike other
organisms, we have proclivities that span beyond the essential tools needed to
survive. We have the unique gift of insight, and with it, the ability to innovate beyond
the parameters of any other specieson the planet. From the use of fire to the invention
of the smartphone, there is a continuum of technological advances.
In today s industrialized societies, these technological conveniences have become
vital in order for one to compete for resources. With this dependency, comes a cost,
and it threatens the very system that supports life on earth. In North America,
700,000 tons of air pollution is released into the atmosphere every day (Biology). This
stems from the use of fuel burning transportation, product manufacturing, and mining.
There are two main classes of air pollution, particles and gases. The discharge of

Multi Campus And Georgia Technical College
The public institution selected for this research project is a nonprofit, multi campus
and Georgia s third largest technical college based in Waco. The institution has an
open admissions policy. It enrolls less than 7,000 students annually, in certificate,
diploma, and associate degree programs. The highest degree offered at the institution
is an associate degree. The student faculty ratio is 18 to 1. The challenge for West
Georgia Technical College(WGTC) is to design and implement effective retention
strategies and programs for first time students that monitor, encourage , and reward
student retention using available resources and without burdening faculty and staff
with cumbersome tracking and reporting procedures. While the limitations present an
overwhelming task, the consequences of not solving the problem exceed any
potential limitations. With these limitations in mind, the researcher s task is to find a
workable solution. First year retention rates involving higher education
undergraduates during the previous several years have improved marginally even
with various improvement efforts (Barefoot, 2000; Tinto, 2004). Large numbers of
first year students are exiting college due to unsatisfactory academic skills, failures to
adapt both socially and academically, in addition to having an inadequate
commitment to the objective of finishing college (Ishler Upcraft, 2005; Tinto, 1987).
The goal of this research project is to improve student retention by focusing
Research Paper On Magnets
Levitating is not only for magicians, but for magnets too. Scientist have been using
magnetism to create levitation for years. Recently, they have advanced their
technology and expanded their knowledge about magnetism and levitation and
conformed them to be used in everyday life. Magnetic levitation can be broken down
into so many different topics such as magnetism and levitation, but there is a much
deeper meaning to magnetic levitation. A magnetis an object that has a magnetic field.
It can attract heavy objects such as iron and steel. A magnet can be in many shapes
and sizes. The word magnet came from the elderly Cretan shepherd, Magnes. He
supposedly found a rock that had a strong magnetic force. In the rock was large
amounts of lodestone. The most common magnet used today is the bar magnet. They
can also be used in compasses.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Magnetic levitation uses the natural repelling nature of the poles that are of the same
kind to control levitation. This can come in many different forms and all made
differently. One way is permanent magnets, which is the easiest of all the forms
because it does not require any outside material to make the levitation, but it is not
very controllable. Magnetism is the main component in the levitation act. Magnetism
has been around ever since Earth was created. It is the force that is generated by the
motion of electrons within its atoms. Earth spins and has gravity because of
magnetism. It is created within the processes inside of earth, the core. Earths core is
made of iron and ore that is constantly in a spinning motion which forms a pure
magnetic force. Magnetism also creates north and south poles that the earth spins.
The magnetism that earth gives off is called earths magnetic
Natural History Approach To Social Problem Analysis
5. Discuss the natural history approach to social problems. Sociologists have
indicated that social problems tend to develop into a series of phases and stages.
This is referred to as the natural history approach since it s similar to biologists who
study the development stages of a species. Although, sociologists indicate that social
problems generally follow stages of development, but there are usually deviations
based on the different topics (Kornblum Julian, 2012). According to Malcolm Spector
and John Kitsuse (1987), the major stages can be listed as: problem definition,
legitimacy, reemergence of demands, and rejection and institution building. The first
stage is referred to as problem definition, in which groups identify a social problem...

Obesity has several health implications and social impacts. It can increase the
susceptibility to illnesses like diabetes and cancer, and can even lead to death, as a
result of deteriorating health (Stokes Preston, 2016). Obese individuals can also
be deemed as impaired, as some are unable to adequately move. This results in
labeling, in which obese individuals may be discriminated against when finding a
job or entering an academic institution (Kornblum Julian, 2012). In addition, there
may be social stereotypes and judgement from other individuals, which can result
in depression or low self esteem. The United States has a high percentage of
obesity, which could derive from the lack of exercise and consumption of
processed, fatty foods. Obesity can also relate to socioeconomic factors, in which
poor individuals and families are likelier to consume more processed, unhealthy
foods. This is due to the idea that fast food and junk food tend to be cheaper than
fresh produce and meats (Bean, Stewart, Olbrisch, 2008). In an experiment conducted
by Meinfield, Doty, Fletcher, and Audwin in 2008, the prevalence of obesity in the
US was seen in relation to those in poverty and lower incomes, uninsured individuals,
and low education levels. This further reinforces the idea that obesity can be linked
with socioeconomic
An Idea That Protects A Proprietor s Land Title
Indefeasibility Introduction Indefeasibility of title is an idea that protects a
proprietor s land title. It allows for the proprietor to be immune from attack by
adverse claims and interests in the land, in which he, the proprietor, is registered.
This concept is based around the Torrens system in New Zealand, this concept
consists of three main principles, the mirror, the curtain and the insurance
principles. This essay will discuss the concept of indefeasibility of title, the Torrens
system and how these have provided security of title for land owners in New
Zealand. I will also report on two significant cases that will illustrate the concept of
Indefeasibility of title, they are Frazer v Walker and Efstratiou, Glantschnig and
Petrovic v Glatnschnig. Common Law Common law was implemented in New
Zealand when the British settlers arrived. It was in accordance with English law
and was known as the Deeds system and Act and was replaced by the Torrens
system in 1870. Common Law basically stated that no one could confer a better
title than the one they have and therefore if a deed was deemed invalid, so too was
the title (Hinde 2013). Torrens System The Torrens system is what indefeasibility of
title has been built around. It has existed since 1870 and has been refined and is now
found in the Land Transfer Act 1952. The system, as mentioned earlier, consists of
three principles, the mirror principle, the curtain principle and the insurance principle.
The Mirror principle:
Mental Change In Greasy Lake By T. Coraghessan Boyle
Written in 1985, author T. Coraghessan Boyle s Greasy Lake is a short story
retelling a catalyst incidence that led to a mental change in a group of rebellious
youths. The most critical scene where this change is most apparent surfaces after the
bad guys left and the narrator was left plunged in the muddy river, contemplating his
life and that of the corpse beside him. Through this short but intense story, Boyle has
successfully integrated the elements of characterisation and setting to vividly
illustrate the realization about life for the teenagers. The first to be exploited was
how characterisation of the narrator and his friends in the scene has contributed to the
theme of changing. The clear tactile imageries in the paragraph such... Show more

The instance of morning coming when the sky turned from black to cobalt and the
trees separate[d] themselves from the shadows suggests a new beginning just as
the teenagers trudged out from the shadows of the lake their wrongdoings. Their
mishaps are no longer noticeable, lying on the field as if from a vanished
civilization . Their desert from badness have been implied in this setting as a
naturally right thing, like nature . Moreover, the sound of bird chirping, the sight
of dew on leaves, and the smell of sun firing buds and opening blossoms , are all
symbolisms of a brand new promising start, an opportunity to rid the old selves and
change for the new, like buds and blossoms and morning light breaking the dark.
Although the vestige of the past is still vaguely there, the broken glass and garbage
, the mud and shattered glass , the narrator and his friends have forgiven their errors
and improved upon their view of life, bending and decided their future that was no
more than five feet from the open door the keys . No greater symbolism can be
expressed when the narrator mentioned the glinting keys like jewels in the first
tapering shaft of sunlight . These are the concluding sign that indicated the rightful
directions that the youths have taken and their concluded resolve to abstain from all
badness from

campaigns known by consumers today. Cliff Freeman created brand identities using
his humor. Therefore one of the most obvious traits of his advertising campaigns was
his use of humor. He has an amazing story about the rise to the top of his field as he
showed the ways in which humor could be used to create a relationship with

Nothing speaks of the success of an advertisement than the reception of the public
audience. To put this achievement in perspective, we are looking at 1973 before the
age of the internet. Today we are able to talk about viral videos on the net, but Cliff
Freeman started campaigns that were viral with even limited resources. This success
would continue with the next major breakthrough advertising campaign created by
Freeman. It was at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample that Freeman created his most famous
advertisement; the 1984 Wendy s Where is the beef? campaign.
The Wendy s campaign really brought to attention the creative genius of Cliff
Freeman. Worthy of notice is the fact that Wendy s burgers were not as popular at
the time of the advertisement. In fact Wendy s burgers were far behind in terms of
exposure and sales of the two great burger chains, McDonalds and Burger King. It
was in such an atmosphere and market that Cliff Freeman wanted to break into with
his ingenuity. He was determined to show the world that Wendy s also had a great
product that had a greater amount of beef content. Created in 1983 and first shown
on television in January 1984, the advertisement featured three old ladies who were
scrutinizing burgers that were resembling the burgers of competitors. Then one of
the ladies looks up and calls out, Where is the beef? The audience was captured by
the sarcasm and the way in which the

1. Defining the FTSE 250
The FTSE is bantered around a lot within financial circles and seems to be a key
element within many news headlines too. While the term FTSE is commonly known,
few actually understand the FTSE 250 and what it entails. In order to educate those
who are unfamiliar with what it is, the following information should be of great use.
Leading Index
Widely considered to be one of the leading indices in the world, the FTSE 250 is an
index that features some of the biggest operating companies on the planet.
However, some may be unsure of what of an index is generally. The purpose of an
index is actually pretty self explanatory on the surface, it a tool used to summarise

The reason why investors have such a heighted interest in the FTSE 250 is because
it is often where the future superstar companies of tomorrow are found. Traders will
track this index with invested interest in the hope of finding a stock that can surge
following investment. The FTSE 250 is one of the more interesting indexes within
the world of stock and shares, as it features names from all sectors.
How to track the FTSE 250?
Taking advantage of the FTSE 250 requires investors to be diligent. What is
featured within the FTSE 250 is affected by in company, in market, and general
world events. Changing global economics in general can have a deep impact on
the companies that are featured with the FTSE 250. For example, when the interest
rates rise in the UK or the oil supply in the Middle East falls short, you can be sure
that it will have an impact on the performance of the FTSE 250. The key to
mastering the FTSE 250 relates to tracking signals and attempting to stay one step
ahead of the curve.
Worth Watching
When it comes to importance, the FTSE 250 is an index that should be considered
a priority in the eyes of an investor that wishes to trade stocks and shares
successfully. Next time you step into the world of stocks and shares be sure to keep
the FTSE 250 in mind.

Argument Of Athanasius And Arius At The Council Of
Nicaea
Critically evaluate the arguments of Athanasius and Arius at the Council of Nicaea
The Patristic Era saw various controversies arising over the nature of Jesus Christ,
which consequently lead to the establishment of the creed as an attempt to reject the
heretical views held by proponents. An example of a heretical advocate is Arius,
who suggested Christ was inferior to God, but still above other creatures (McGrath,
2001, p.358). However, early orthodox theologians disputed this idea due to the
soteriological complications that accompanied it (Young, 2010, p.55). The central
advocator of this dispute was Athanasius, who questioned how Arius belief allowed
for salvation through Jesus Christ, which is a key orthodox belief identified within
the Bible. Accordingly, this essay will critically evaluate the heretical opinion of
Arius and determine how this Arian understanding was discarded by Athanasius and
the Nicene Creed. It is important to note that the Arian thought that will be assessed
is primarily presented to us by Athanasius, which will emphasise the conflicting
orthodoxy/heretical opinion that was held. In addition to this, the essay will
determine how the establishment of the creed at the Council of Nicaea, which was
greatly influenced by Athanasius (McGrath 2001, p,12), was a failed attempt to
expel all aspects of Arian heresy but a success in uniting Christians. Firstly, the
definition of heresy will be explained as to not discredit Arius Chrisitian belief:
Heresy is the acceptance of basic Christian principle but interpreting it in terms that
are not consistent with orthodoxy (McGrath, 2001, p.153). Arius, as a Christian,
accepted the supreme authority of an eternal God but he declared God alone is
anarchos and Jesus has an arche (Williams, 2001, p.97); the suggestion of Jesus
created existence makes him a distinctly separate nature from God. This a direct
rejection of the Council of Nicaea s declaration of Jesus having the same essence of
God; therefore, this Arian belief is a heresy through refusal not misinterpretation. This
heretical view is further fought against through Athanasius extensive focus on Jesus
death and the implications that this had on humanity as told by the Bible

Understanding the different motives of why people choose to hasten their death may
help you decide if you are ever in this predicament. The possibility of doctor abuse

that doctors have a financial interest in aiding with suicides. These physicians,
according to Coleman, are allowed to come to the conclusion of which patients is
in need of their assistance and decides what information to discuss concerning
treatment for their illness. Coleman says, Oregon Law gives physician too much
power (Coleman). It allows the physician to say who is coherent enough to make
the decision and if this is a good choice for that individual. Although, Coleman
believes that physician is coercing patients, Tucker implies that doctors do not
encourage patients to hasten death. In Tucker s article Arthur Caplan states, I was
worried about people being pressured to do this. But this data confirms, for the
seventh year, that the policy in Oregon is working. There is no evidence of abuse or
coercion or misuse of the policy (Tucker). Tucker furthermore discuss that researchers
have establish that Oregon does not have any apprehension of physicians assistance
because they do not discriminate against patients. The authors have different points of
view when discussing doctor assisted suicide effects to society. Coleman believes that

parts for individual examination. Data analysis Data analysis could be a method for
getting raw data and changing it into information helpful for decision making by
users. Statistician John Tukey outlined data analysis in 1961 as: Procedures for
analyzing data, techniques for interpreting the results of such procedures, ways of
planning the gathering of data to make its analysis easier, more precise or more
accurate, and all the machinery and results of (mathematical) statistics which apply to
analyzing data. (Agarwal, ElAbbadi, 2010) Business organizations receive different

Mmr Vaccine And The Vaccine
Vaccines; a more than spectacular development of science which has prevented
countless numbers of diseases by giving one s body an immunity to a
microorganism by stimulating the body s immune system and giving it the ability to
recognize the pathogen as it enters the body to be more easily and readily destroyed.
Autism, on the other hand, has not yet been fully linked back to a specific cause or
reason. Because of this uncertainty, disgruntled parents have chosen to believe ideas
with no scientific backing behind them besides what discredited scientist Wakefield
said in a paper linking the MMR vaccineto autism along with some celebrities
following Jenny McCarthy s Anti VaccinationMovement. This issue holds
controversial value because of all of the parents whom refuse to vaccinate their
children putting them at risk for the diseases that the vaccine is supposed to
prevent. All of this is due to the one doctor who was bribed by a lawyer company
four hundred thousand euros to bad mouth vaccinations to give them a case
against it in a lawsuit. This lost him his medical license and even still is believed
to this very day by a large group of people. This topic is talked about on the internet
quite often and it s typically a debate between parents and doctors with little to no
reasoning behind the parents perspective. This issue is so compelling because it is
almost rage inducing to think about parents putting their children s lives at risk for a
controversy that was made
Black Death Theory
The Black Death, which swept the continent of Europe in the mid 1300 s, was an
extreme epidemic which was an eye opener for extreme illnesses and plagues. The
plague had a lot of harmful effects on the people and continent of Europe. The Black
Death was a powerful, murderous, and rampant disease.
The epidemic, commonly known today as the Black Death , began in the mid
fourteenth century. There are many theories with evidence as to how the illness
spread to different areas in different ways. One of these theories was that in 1347,
the first confirmation of the plague occurred on the island of Sicily off the Italian
coast. Another theory of the plague s begin and origin is that in 1346 in the
European, Black Sea coastal city of Caffa, crew members from a recently docked
ship were all ill from the plague. There is even another theory that the plague
started affecting the southern region of Europe in 1348 due to trade routes from the
middle east to Europe. At the start of the disease outbreak, the origins and spread of
the disease were unknown. It was later discovered that fleas and rats were the main
carriers of Pasteurella pestis. ( Bubonic Plague World of Biology) Pasteurella pestis is

parts of the body. Mass swelling from underarm and groin lymph nodes resulted in
nodes swollen larger than the size of golf balls. The swollen lymph nodes would
then turn into gory, black patches. These patches were filled with blood and would
exude pus. Typically, death followed these symptoms shortly after their first
appearance. (McCabe, Suzanne. Dark death: In 1347, a terrible plague brought death

Analysis Of Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines is a global airline, one of the largest worldwide. According to
SkyTeam (2009), a worldwide alliance management team of ten members, the
founding member Delta serves about 928 destinations in about 174 countries; with

In this paper, we will venture into the globalization of Delta Air Lines and understand

Reproductive Rights Of Women In The United States
The ability for women from all walks of life to have access to affordable and safe
healthcare including abortion is something I m passionate about. It is appalling to
me as both a woman and as a citizen of the United States that women have had their
reproductive choices made for them or extremely limited by legislatures, especially
when these decisions seem to come from a place of ignorance. It s been incredibly
disheartening to watch the reproductive rights of women within the United States be
chipped away and restricted over the past decade by state and federal legislatures.
The solutions I would propose lie primarily in education as it is education that
combats ignorance and misinformation. In this particular case, it would be better sex
Pop Goes The Weasel
(A) Reading through Ong s work, I was surprised at the way that literacy restructures
our understanding of memory and knowledge, but I recognize the lack of importance
of memory even in my own schooling and day to day activities. Even thinking of a
mnemonic device for this exercise, though several came to mind, was challenging.
The few that were taught in school were the first that come to mind, but these
mnemonicdevices would only make sense in a literate society. For instance, the
ROY G BIV mnemonic for the colors of the rainbow, as well as a song set to the tune
of Pop goes the Weasel to remember the quadratic equation, center around letters and
names that only make sense when put in the context of a written world. I wanted to

Though in some cases, like Ong referenced, literate people memorize and recite
words in order to accomplish something or perhaps infuse the phrase with power,
like in the case of speeches, liturgies, etc., it seems as if in literate cultures, the
repetition that comes with memorization almost cheapens the importance of the
words that are meant to spoken with power. Ong referenced spiritual words in
particular, referencing the ways that liturgies are read aloud and sometimes
scriptures/prayers are spoken aloud in order to show the sacred, communal nature of
the text, for instance in the case of The Lord s Prayer. But, from my experience, the
phrases do not carry the power. Instead, the power is only in the attitude when
speaking/reading through these phrases. The actual words seem to take a backseat,
behind the person speaking

Observation Reflection
As I walked into the classroom for my first day of observations, I was greeted with
a warm Hello! In fact, each time that I entered a new classroom I was given the same
greeting. All of the teachers were more than happy to be helping a future educator by
letting me observe their teaching styles and learn new techniques to use.
Through spending time in various classrooms, I have gained valuable information
that I will take with me into student teaching and my future classroom.
Many of the things that we have talked about in class were illustrated for me in the
classrooms that I visited. The most prominent of them was the use of word walls.

For one reading aloud lesson, the teacher used the popcorn reading strategy. She
did most of the reading, but every once in a while she picked one of the students to
take over. I think that this was a great way to handle the book that they were
reading because there was some difficult vocabulary in the section that they read
that day. This style helped me to realize that even though they are in 4 th grade, the
students do not have to be responsible for all of the reading all of the time. It is a
good thing to give them a break every so often and just let them enjoy the story
through following along. However, I did like that she would stop about every other
paragraph and ask questions about tough vocabulary and what was happening in
the story. This is a great way to make sure that the students were really following
along and not staring at the floor or off into space. She also was able to insert a
minilesson review on using context clues to figure out the meaning of an unknown
word. Since she knew which students would be comfortable reading the material in
front of the whole class and which would not, the teacher was able to choose the
confident readers to do the reading aloud and have the others answer the questions.
With buddy reading, I think that it is a great way for a strong reader to help a
struggling reader. As a class read their material in pairs, I heard one little girl
encourage her partner who was struggling with some of the
Heart Rate In The Heart
The heart is a muscle that is used to pump blood throughout the body and helps
circulate oxygen and red blood cells to muscles and organs. Heart rate is the
measurement of how many times a person s heart beats in a certain amount of time.
It is measure in BPM (beats per minute). Heart rate can be affected by the work of
the muscles in the body. The more strain the muscles of the body are under or the
more work they do means a higher heartrate. Recovery rate is derived from the
measuring the heart rate after ceasing activity.
The hearts need to speed up or speed down is triggered by the cell s need for oxygen.
As one exercises, the muscles in the body need ATP so they can complete their
respective functions. ATP is the energy source for the cells and it is required for
the cell to do work. Oxygen is the final electron acceptor in the cell s production of
ATP and is therefore required to make energy for the cell. Therefore, the tissue cells
need oxygen to create energy and need energy to complete their functions. They get
the oxygen from oxygenated blood circulating throughout the body.
The more muscles work, the more oxygen they need which means the circulatory
system must compensate and pass more oxygenated blood through to the muscles
which need it to make energy. Therefore, the heart must work faster to pump this
blood throughout the body at a faster pace, which increases the heart rate. The lungs
also play an important role because the oxygen breathed in oxygenates the
The First Sex Offender Register Law
United States
California enacted the first sex offender register law in 1944. However, sex
offender registers in the United States did not become widespread until the 1990s.
The Jacob Wetterling Act 1994 was named after 11 year old Jacob Wetterling who
was abducted and to this day has never been found. The Jacob Wetterling Act
implemented the first nation wide sex offender register. Originally, the concept of a
sex offender register was intended to for use solely by law enforcement; it was not
an intention for the sex offender register to be public. However in 1996, Megan s
Law was added to the Wetterling Crimes Against Children and Sexually Violent
Offender Registration Act 1994 and made it a requirement for the information on
sex offender registers to be accessible by the public. Megan s Law was enacted as a
result of a heinous crime where 7 year old Megan Kanka was raped and murdered
by her neighbour, who had two previous convictions for sexually assaulting young
girls. In 2006, Congress passed the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act.
This Act required states to enact stricter registration requirements, including an
increase in the penalty for not registering and more frequent verification of sex
offenders locations. Since 2006 public access to sex offender registers has been
accessible on the Internet in most states. On these websites you can search for an
offender by name or location, and find information such as their photo, convictions,
address,

Although the terms science and technology are commonly used in conjunction with
each other, it is important to recognize an important distinction between the two. The
term science is derived from the Latin words scientia ( knowledge ) and scire ( to
know) and refers to a systematic and rational approach to investigating natural
phenomena through a combination of observations, experimentation and testing of
hypotheses (all of which are elements of the scientific method which will be
discussed in greater detail in Chapter 3). Science is thus a philosophy of inquiry that
seeks to gain new knowledge of natural phenomena regardless of whether or not any
practical applications for such knowledge

Social Class Distinction in Sir Gawain and the Green...
Sir Gawain and the Green knight is a romantic Middle English poem written in the
fourteenth century by an unknown author. This poem is a fairy tale like story that
gives its readers a glimpse into the social class system of Medieval England. This
literary work opens with the famous King Arthur, a local bishop, and King Arthur s
knights enjoying a royal feast at Camelot during the Christmas season. This poem
provides an accurate depiction of the feudal system of the middle ages. Within this
tale are individuals representing the pyramid of power that symbolizes the social
class system of Medieval England. This top of the pyramid group consists of royalty,
clergy and noble knights. As this mythical poem begins readers are quickly... Show

The significance of religious leaders during this era is evident by the fact that the
writer of this poem places the bishop at the beginning of the table. Due to the fact
that the medieval society was a religious society and that these religious leaders held
a special relationship with God, it is no surprise that these individuals held the
second highest social class position in the medieval time period (Feudalism and the
Three Orders (Overview) 2). The last level of social class presented in Sir Gawain
and the Green knight is represented by the noble knights of King Arthur s round table.
In the European feudal system knight service was held due to the king only (knight
service (feudal law) 1). Stories of brave and courageous knights are extremely
common in fourteenth century literature. Knights in medieval times were those who
fought to protect the king and were often considered valiant and honorable heroes.
These noble men were known for their bravery and ability to fight. Gerald Morgan
points out that beautiful ladies are drawn to the presence of great knights and by the
same token such knights must learn to accustom themselves to the company of
beautiful ladies (1). At King Arthur s banquet, Sir Gawain honorably represents the
knights when he turned to the king stating, I beseech now with all courtesy that this

Zeno s Arguments Against Achilles
One of Zeno s arguments about motion is called the Achilles. This well known
argument is named after the one whom the argument says cannot possibly overtake
the tortoise he is pursuing. This argument on Achilles helps show us how Zeno
proved his point. He took a presupposition and then proved that it is, in fact,
impossible. The argument starts with Achilles and the Tortoise having a race. And
because Achilles is a swift and mighty warrior, and the Tortoise is heavy and slow,
the Tortoise is given a head start of ten meters. However, with this advantage, the
Tortoise will always be ahead of Achilles no matter how quick he catches up with it.
In order to understand the way Zeno think, we will be analyzing this paradox of
Achilles and the Tortoise.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Zeno put this in the argument so we can easily see the dilemma. If Achilles is faster,
that should mean he would definitely overtake the Tortoise. But Zeno is giving the
argument that whenever Achilles catches up to the animal, it would, at that moment,
advances a certain distance. So by giving the Tortoise a head start, Achilles put
himself in a situation where he can never catch up to his opponent.
These lead us to the implicit premises underlying the argument about Achilles and the
Tortoise. First, Achilles always takes some amount of timeto cover a certain distance.
And though the Tortoise is slow, it is always moving ahead. Because the animal
covers some distance in every interval of time, it seems impossible to know the time
at the end of which Achilles has caught the Tortoise. Therefore, we can infer from the
premises that in each moment that Achilles must be catching up the distance between
them, the Tortoise will be adding a new distance however

2.4 CONSTRAINT MANAGEMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
What is Constraint Management? Constraint management is a tool that supervisors
and other management personnel use to help employees sustain task focus.
According to Goal Systems International, a Washington based business consulting
firm, constraint managementtry to help employees and supervisors remain locked in
on the most important element of business success: system constraints. These
constraints, or basic conditions to accomplishment a goal, differ by business and can
include meeting manufacturing output quotas, completing products in a well timed
manner or obtaining particular customer satisfaction scores on product surveys.
Constraint management believes that losing focus on these key essentials can facing
disaster for a workforce and the business as a whole. The constraint management
model recognizes performance standards for employees and try to improve
operational efficiency. A business is using constraint management requires structured
schedules for assembling raw materials, creating products and distributing products to
consumers. Performed properly, this model of management can significantly improve

Many people have read the book Gifted Hands. In this book Ben s mom and dad

they are both still a part in Ben s life. With this being said, they both love Ben in
their own different ways. Let us now consider a few examples of this.
To begin with, Ben s mom has always stayed with her family that she is with now
her whole life. On the contrary, Ben s dad had what I call a side family . What I
mean by this is that, in the book Gifted Hands it stated that Ben s dad was cheating

Ben and supports him with all of the decisions. On the other hand, his father is never

American Reconstruction After The Civil War
Many historians argue about the result of the reconstruction. By reading the sources I
concluded that the American reconstruction after the war was somewhat successful.
According to Frances after the civil war, the north sent many generals to the south to
control territories until the land was settling. According to her augments the claims
that the generals would force the people to bow down to them. People in the south
considered them as tyrants. Another thing that many people in the south were angry
about was the fact that most black in the south had more right to vote that some of
the whites themselves. She mentions that if blacks in the north could not vote why
the blacks in the south should (366). This clearly shows the high disapproval

Working As An Intern Caring For Patients With Cancer

Reflection Assignment Working as an intern caring for patients with cancer on the
Adjunctive Cancer Care (ACC) shift at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic
(RSNC) for this past year has been a great learning experience. Although it had its
own unique set of challenges, it has been a real privilege to be a trusted part of the
patients care experience. With the privilege of being a part of patient s health care
teams, there were many challenging aspects working with terminally ill patients. I
initially found it hard to fully commit to the therapeutic relationship; I wanted to
maintain some form of internal boundary to protect myself emotionally. I found as
time when on, I was more willing to open up and exposure my emotional
vulnerability in order to fully meet their needs and be there for the patient. It is a
delicate balance trying to be there fully for your patient, care for them to the fullest
extent, as well as attempting to protect my own emotions and feelings. There is a
give and take to this balance, and it evolved as the relationship with the patient
evolved and my ease in the role of an intern matured. I have patients who are as
close as a friend now, after a year of working together. I am sad to be ending our
therapeutic relationship due to the end of my internship, I am also sad that I won t
be having contact these patients anymore, or being kept up to date with their health.
It is a strange finality to our working relationship; I am not yet sure how it will
Controversial Aspects Of Government Regulation
Regulating a variety of aspects of business and society is an old and often
controversial aspect of government, particularly at the national level. Much of what
the national government does, or fails to do, has an impact on individual citizens,
private corporations and other business enterprises, agricultural producers and
marketers, foreign governments, labor unions, and stateand local governments.
The first national regulatory efforts in the late 1800s were intended at punishment
for, and the prevention of, abuses in the marketplace, antitrust violations, and price
gouging. During the 20th century, government regulation became even more
extensive, focusing not only on preventing certain kinds of practices, but also
requiring that certain in service standards can and should be met. And the past 50
years, more than a dozen new regulatory agencies have been shaped at the national
and state government levels, following the route of new regulatory statutes.
Regulatory measures contact virtually every part of our lives.
Some government actions are seemingly not linked to regulating private lives, but
still indeed do so. These include local building codes and zoning laws; government
housing loan programs with minimum income requirements cut off many inferior
citizens from an ability to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some challenge that the most efficient regulator is free market competition among
those seeking to attract the buying public. They argue that government regulation is
intrusive with the marketplace and works to the disadvantage of both consumers and
producers. Advocates of government regulation, however, see a better need to
observe and guide the path of competition. They believe that an entirely unrestrained
market will unavoidably lead to monopolistic practices, higher costs, underserved
segments of society, and lower quality goods and
The Golden Touch Analysis
The allure of precious metals and the shimmer of precious stones versus the
blandness of the essential concepts of life: food, water and shelter, can be a
difficult choice for some people. The hypothetical line between what is a need
versus a want splits society tenfold, and is a major problem in world civilization
today. The choices humans make on a daily basis determine the futures of
thousands, so what are the choices in life that are driven by needs and wants? The
choices that define needs and wants are greed, the desire to pursue wealth, and the
desire to protect one s self. Firstly, The Golden Touch , by Nathaniel Hawthorne

into liberal persuasion to Congress for stricter gun laws. Sometimes Congress

and the outlook on homicides and mass shootings. Occasionally, Congress debates
legislative proposals to address the national gun problem. Some legislators point out
how effective regulations have been in other countries as well as in some states
(Zelizer 1). Clinton was one of the first presidents to successfully place through
regulations on guns. However, with one third of the United States population owning

know the difference between a firearm used for hunting and target shooting and a
weapon designed to kill people (Zelizer 4). Nevertheless, the gun control movement
finally passed through. Signed into law in September 1994, the legislation made it
illegal to manufacture, transfer or possess numerous categories of assault weapons
and established a ceiling on high capacity magazines (Zelizer 5). Even today in
2018, the gun control movement continues to grow with rising violence in the United
States. The positive news in 2018 is that there has been growing pressure from the
public for Congress to do something about guns. Polls show that a majority of the
country supports renewed restrictions on certain kinds of assault weapons. There are
also more states, such as Connecticut, with a proven track record showing that
regulations can work (Zelizer

Character Analysis Of Luke Skywalker In A New Hope
One of the many appeals of Star Wars is its extensive cast of unique characters.
Every character is written creatively; even the one off minor characters have a
special flair to them. The interactions between these characters are what drive the
story and create this vast universe. Ultimately, Luke Skywalker is the main character
of the original Star Warstrilogy. The three films tell his story and journey of
becoming a JediKnight. Starting out as a naive young boy, throughout the course of
the films Luke Skywalkermatures into a full fledged Jedi Knight who is tasked with
defeating the Empire.
Despite being the main character, in A New Hope, Luke Skywalker is neither
mentioned nor seen on screen until the setting of the film has already been
established. He is first seen with his uncle Owen buying droids from the Jawas on
Tatooine. Luke is first portrayed as an annoying and immature kid. As the film s
plot follow him, we learn more about his character. Skywalker is an orphan living
with his aunt and uncle on the desert planet Tatooine. At this point in the story, his
main goal is to escape his boring life on Tatooine and explore the galaxy. However,
his aunt and uncle force him to stay and help tend the family s farm. In the
beginning of A New Hope, Luke s character represents the average teenager who just
wants to break away from his or her mundane life.
In just the course of A New Hope, Luke s character changes immensely. The critical

Why Is The Squire Dressed In Canterbury Tales
The Squire is the second character to be introduced in the Canterbury Tales written
by Chaucer. Along with the Knight, his father, they are the only nobility that are on
the pilgrimage to Canterbury. The Squire is a courteous and serviceable person
especially in serving his father. He is a free spirited romantic who is twenty years
old. Although the Squire, as he often sings, is spontaneous and free, he has
performed bravely in his limited battle experience with strength and agility in
honor of his lady. Chaucer describes him as a lover and a cadet showing how he
truly represents the romantic spirit of youth (82). The Squire s tale follows the
Merchant s tale and is introduced when the host most likely tells the Squire to tell a
tale about love because he would know the most about it. The Squire responds in

The Masque Of Blackness Essay
In 17th Century England, the idea of different races and cultures was new, and
therefore, a novelty; anything that differed from the norm was highly valued and
sought after. Noble people and professional actors took advantage of this and put on
The Masque of Blackness, a production in which many of its actors appeared in
blackface. The masques were elaborate performances, made to praise the monarch,
with larger than life costumes and staging that combined songs, dances, and acting
into a presentation that depicted gods and goddesses, and pastoral settings. Although
the play is meant to be for entertainment, it begins to cross lines when the
performance becomes a spectacle of racism and exoticism. In Benjamin Jonson s The

But eventually, his fame led him to King James court. At the request of Queen Anne
of Denmark, wife to King James I of England, he wrote The Masque of Blackness.
The masque was written as the discovery of the New World and global expansion
into Africa was occurring. This influx of new cultures, races, religions, and other
ideas created the perfect chance for Jonson to bring these concepts to the court stage
and please the monarchs whom the praise would be focused on.
The Masque of Blackness first premiered in 1605 in the banquet hall of Whitehall
Palace in London, England at the height of global expansion. The banquet hall itself
was temporary at this time, but was later built by the architect, Inigo Jones, who also
staged The Masque of Blackness. It was rebuilt in 1619 after the previous hall
burned down in a fire and completed. The hall was used for entertainment purposes,
especially designed to put on the elaborate masques and other performances. Queen
Anne and her ladies of the court got to be the main characters of the masque because
of Anne s status and because she chose the topic. Jonson annotates in the masque:
Hence, because it was her majesty s will to have them blackmoors at first, the
invention was derived by me. If he wanted to maintain his position and recognition,
Jonson had to cater to the monarch s wishes for the

Note: The Defense News figures were used to avoid inaccuracies of exchange rates
when converting BAE figures from ВЈ to $ for each year. Defense News has not
published the 2010 figures yet.
As indicated in Chart 2, BAE has had consistent growth in revenue over the last five
years which is in line with the growth in the industry itself. However, BAE had the
highest relative growth among its competitors and surpassed both Northrop and
Boeing to become the second largest defence contractor from number four in 2005.
Such steady growth has placed the company in a superior position in the industry. It
has also given BAE the ability to continue to compete against its rivals and win
contracts for national governments as well as develop advanced products.
BAE s growth over the years has been fuelled by defence spending of its two main
buyers, US and

If the technique pans out, then aircraft, wind turbines and perhaps even spaceships
of the future may boast embedded circulatory systems with an epoxy resin that can
bleed into holes or cracks and then fluoresce under ultraviolet light to mark the
damage like a bruise during follow up inspections. The telephone was invented by
Alexander Graham Bell in March of 1876. The telephone changed the world by
making communication easier for people in different parts of the world. Imagine
not being able to talk to a friend in another state or country. If telephones aren t
there, talking to someone on the go would be impossible. Telephones have
changed in many ways , now we have mobile telephones which are called
cellphones .Nowadays, telephones and cellphones look more modern and smaller.
Cell phones can now do more than just call people unlike in the 1970 s when it was
first made. Now cellphones have games, music, notes, text messaging, etc.

father taught elocution and his mother was deaf. In 1870, Bell and his family moved

This is because many diseases are caused by infection through skin. Therefore, I
emphasized much on my own personal hygiene. For instance, I always do hand
washing and showering with soap and water after all activities. It is because soap
is effective in washing away the germ and bacterial which can cause serious illness
if you didn t do thoroughly. Another way is maintain a healthy body to reduce the
risk of being sick. I often go for medical check up regularly to ensure that my body
is at its best state. It is because by going to medical check up can detect early
symptoms of deadly disease such as cancer and heart attack. Therefore, I normally
go for medical check up twice a year to maintain a healthy body. Moreover, exercise
is also helps to stay healthy too. By doing exercise, it could tone up our muscles

Figurative Language In Countee Cullen s Tableau And
Incident
Countee Cullen was an African American poet during the early 1900s. Countee
became renowned during the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s, a time where black
writers and artists were featured prominently. His most influential poems are Tableau
and Incident. Both of the poems, by Countee Cullen, show how racismplays a large
part in how people perceive each other. He demonstrates this by using figurative
language, and tone that contribute to the theme of both of the poems.
In his poem Tableau he shows figurative language by comparing the two boys to
day and night, The black boy and the white, The golden splendor of the day / The
sable prince of night (Cullen 2 4). The word choices he uses shows that he uses a
metaphor to describe ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Both of the ways Countee uses his diction and tone plays a significant part in the
theme of both of the poem.
Countee Cullen uses figurative language and tone in both poems to create a theme.
In his poem Tableau the message that the audience can perceive is that friendship
shouldn t be based on stereotypes. The central part of the poem that can show how
the theme attributes is when the African American child and the white child join in
unison and cross arms, Locked arm in arm they cross the way (Cullen 1). At the
beginning of the poem, this showed how the children don t care if they are a different
race, their friendship overcomes that. Countee Cullen also uses his figurative style
and tone in the poem Incident . The author reveals the theme to be words can be
powerful. In the poem, this is seen when the African American child goes to
Baltimore and sees a white child and gets called a damaging name, And so I smiled,
but he poked out / His tongue and called me, Nigger. (Cullen 7,8). Just from that only
word, all of his views on Baltimore changed. The use of diction and figurative
language helped the theme finally come presently to the audience.
Throughout his ways of using figurative language and tone,

Allusions To Pandora In Today s Society
There are many allusions to Pandora in modern day life. In this report I will be
writing about all of the different ways Pandora is incorporated in todays society.
Pandora was the first woman on earth and she was created by Zeus as a punishment
to Prometheus. Zeus gave Pandora and a box to Epimetheus and told him not to open
it. Pandoraand Epimetheus lived a happy life together in a world where no one
grew old or sick. Later in life Pandora grew curious and she opened the box
releasing hate, jealousy, cruelty, anger, hunger, poverty, pain, sickness, old age,
and death into the world. With all of the horrible things, one good thing came out
of the box, that thing was Hope. Hope made it possible for humans to have a
chance at happiness. The phrase curiosity killed the cat refers to someone s
downfall. In my opinion the phrase refers to the act of Pandora opening the box.
Pandora let her curiosity get the best of her which led to the downfall of not only
her but the entirety of the world. Since Pandora had opened the box she in a way
killed the cat because she had but the world in jeopardy. The story of Frankenstein

The company gave themselves that name because Pandora means all gifted in greek.
In Greek Mythology, Pandora received many gifts from the gods including the gift of
music. Pandora was also very curious and the company chose the name because they
want their followers to follow their curiosity and leap into the never ending music
possibilities that Pandora Radio has to offer. Pandora Jewelry is another company that
adopted their name after the Greek figure, Pandora. In Pandora Jewelry s logo they
have the words, unforgettable moments with the name Pandora above it. This is
alluding to how the moment when Pandora opened the box and how that was an
unforgettable moment. The design is also hinting at the fact that their jewelry is
meant for other unforgettable moments, i.e., engagements, special

  • 1. Cheap Essays Crafting an essay on the topic of "Cheap Essays" may initially seem like a straightforward task, but delving into the intricacies of this subject reveals a complexity that demands careful consideration. The challenge lies not only in exploring the concept of affordability in essay writing but also in navigating the ethical implications associated with seeking budget-friendly solutions. One must grapple with the paradoxical nature of "cheap essays." On one hand, there is a genuine need for accessible academic assistance, especially for students facing financial constraints. On the other hand, the term "cheap" can carry negative connotations, suggesting a compromise in quality or the potential for plagiarism. Balancing these conflicting aspects requires a nuanced approach to present a fair and comprehensive view. Research becomes a crucial component of the writing process, as it involves not only identifying affordable essay writing services but also scrutinizing their legitimacy and reputation. Distinguishing between genuine platforms offering reasonable prices and those engaging in unethical practices adds another layer of complexity. Moreover, evaluating the reliability of sources discussing the topic is essential to present a well-informed and unbiased perspective. Addressing the ethical concerns surrounding cheap essays introduces a moral dimension to the essay. Is the pursuit of budget-friendly options a responsible choice, or does it inadvertently encourage academic dishonesty? Examining both sides of the argument requires a careful examination of the consequences of seeking cost-effective solutions in the academic realm. Furthermore, the essay should consider the potential impact on the quality of education and the long-term implications for students who opt for cheaper writing services. Are they sacrificing their own learning experience, and does this compromise their academic integrity? These questions delve into broader issues related to the education system and the ethical boundaries of seeking external assistance. In conclusion, composing an essay on the topic of "Cheap Essays" necessitates a thorough exploration of affordability, ethical considerations, and the broader implications for students. • 2. Polar Bay Research Paper Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve is a spectacular national park in the Alaskan wilderness. It is mainly located in Gustavus, Alaska which is near Juneau, Alaska. The park itself relative to Alaska is located on the Southeastern tip of Alaska which borders Canada. The people that pushed for this area to become a national park are the native Tlingit tribe, Alaskasettlers, and explorers who explored these areas. The reason this land had to become a national park is to protect the 8 different glaciers, and the extreme populations of wildlife and floral. The process for Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve took place over a span of many years. It began in 1925 when it was named a national monument, but 50 years later it was named... It is typically 5 to 75 degrees with constant, light rain and about 10 to 15 inches of rain each summer. As spring or fall come each year the weather slowly becomes more severe. At sea level in the park weather is usually between 30 to 60 degrees with heavy amount of rain. During these times of the year in the mountains and on glaciers there is cold temperatures at a constant 30 to 40 degrees and snowfall every day. In spring and fall rainfall is typically between 20 to 25 inches each year. When it is winter temperatures reach below 30 degrees and even can range in the negatives. The mountain and glaciers face extreme snowfall and temperatures. At sea level in the winter there is primarily 30 to 40 degrees with changes between snowfall and rainfall. In the winger Glacier Bay usually has anywhere between 30 and 40 inches of rainfall each year. Throughout the year Glacier Bay sees anywhere from 70 inches of rainfall and up. Each season provides a unique opportunity to see something special. For example in winter you can see the spectacular mountain ranges flourishing with snow. During spring and fall you can walk across humongous icy glaciers. Also during summer whales migrate to Glacier Bay and whale watching is extremely popular in this time. Glacier Bay is extremely influenced by
  • 3. How I Learned How To Read A Book Analysis I had so many events growing up as a kid but the most of it all would be learning how to read. Once upon a time in my life, I had no idea about how to write let alone know how to read a book. Personally, I was taught how to read by an uncle called Isaac. This uncle would always sit me down at home to teach me how to read whether I felt like readingor not. You can call it home education. I remember vividly of how Uncle Ike as we the kids call him especially me would always buy story books from town and would see to it that I read it but the best of it all is about taking you to a trip or buying you some clothes if I was able to read it properly and with much fluidity of the words. At first, I use to battle with myself when reading because I felt I was in a different world aside being in my normal world all because of how difficult reading was to me. Uncle Ike would always beat me if I read or pronounce a sentence or a word wrongly.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Pardon me if I don t mention the tittle of the story book because it s really been ages so I cannot recollect the name of the book. He sat me down and handed the story book to me and demanded I read to his hearing and also to make sure I understood the book I was reading. As young as I was, I got a bit nervous and started to read aloud. I remember whiles reading I came across some words like the and their and pronouncing those words was very tough for me but I remember my uncle constantly taught me how to say it right. Since I was nervous, I had to try and learn it the hard way since I didn t wanted to be beaten. Finally, I got use to the words of the book as time progressed and started developing a little appetite for reading. In conclusion, I would say my experience on learning how to read was full of cheer and
  • 4. Taking a Look at the Earth s Biosphere The Earth s biosphere is considered to be the most inclusive layer on the planet; simply put, the biosphere is where life happens. What makes the biosphere so exceptional is the fact that there is no record of life existing anywhere else in space. All of the organisms that inhibit the biosphere impact it in some way. However, humans have the largest impact on the biosphere through the means of industrialization, reproduction, and consumption. As with all of the other organisms inhibiting the biosphere, humans have basic needs in order to thrive. We need habitats, protection, reproductive success, and sustenance. However, unlike other organisms, we have proclivities that span beyond the essential tools needed to survive. We have the unique gift of insight, and with it, the ability to innovate beyond the parameters of any other specieson the planet. From the use of fire to the invention of the smartphone, there is a continuum of technological advances. In today s industrialized societies, these technological conveniences have become vital in order for one to compete for resources. With this dependency, comes a cost, and it threatens the very system that supports life on earth. In North America, 700,000 tons of air pollution is released into the atmosphere every day (Biology). This stems from the use of fuel burning transportation, product manufacturing, and mining. There are two main classes of air pollution, particles and gases. The discharge of elements into the
  • 5. Multi Campus And Georgia Technical College The public institution selected for this research project is a nonprofit, multi campus and Georgia s third largest technical college based in Waco. The institution has an open admissions policy. It enrolls less than 7,000 students annually, in certificate, diploma, and associate degree programs. The highest degree offered at the institution is an associate degree. The student faculty ratio is 18 to 1. The challenge for West Georgia Technical College(WGTC) is to design and implement effective retention strategies and programs for first time students that monitor, encourage , and reward student retention using available resources and without burdening faculty and staff with cumbersome tracking and reporting procedures. While the limitations present an overwhelming task, the consequences of not solving the problem exceed any potential limitations. With these limitations in mind, the researcher s task is to find a workable solution. First year retention rates involving higher education undergraduates during the previous several years have improved marginally even with various improvement efforts (Barefoot, 2000; Tinto, 2004). Large numbers of first year students are exiting college due to unsatisfactory academic skills, failures to adapt both socially and academically, in addition to having an inadequate commitment to the objective of finishing college (Ishler Upcraft, 2005; Tinto, 1987). The goal of this research project is to improve student retention by focusing
  • 6. Research Paper On Magnets Levitating is not only for magicians, but for magnets too. Scientist have been using magnetism to create levitation for years. Recently, they have advanced their technology and expanded their knowledge about magnetism and levitation and conformed them to be used in everyday life. Magnetic levitation can be broken down into so many different topics such as magnetism and levitation, but there is a much deeper meaning to magnetic levitation. A magnetis an object that has a magnetic field. It can attract heavy objects such as iron and steel. A magnet can be in many shapes and sizes. The word magnet came from the elderly Cretan shepherd, Magnes. He supposedly found a rock that had a strong magnetic force. In the rock was large amounts of lodestone. The most common magnet used today is the bar magnet. They can also be used in compasses.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Magnetic levitation uses the natural repelling nature of the poles that are of the same kind to control levitation. This can come in many different forms and all made differently. One way is permanent magnets, which is the easiest of all the forms because it does not require any outside material to make the levitation, but it is not very controllable. Magnetism is the main component in the levitation act. Magnetism has been around ever since Earth was created. It is the force that is generated by the motion of electrons within its atoms. Earth spins and has gravity because of magnetism. It is created within the processes inside of earth, the core. Earths core is made of iron and ore that is constantly in a spinning motion which forms a pure magnetic force. Magnetism also creates north and south poles that the earth spins. The magnetism that earth gives off is called earths magnetic
  • 7. Natural History Approach To Social Problem Analysis 5. Discuss the natural history approach to social problems. Sociologists have indicated that social problems tend to develop into a series of phases and stages. This is referred to as the natural history approach since it s similar to biologists who study the development stages of a species. Although, sociologists indicate that social problems generally follow stages of development, but there are usually deviations based on the different topics (Kornblum Julian, 2012). According to Malcolm Spector and John Kitsuse (1987), the major stages can be listed as: problem definition, legitimacy, reemergence of demands, and rejection and institution building. The first stage is referred to as problem definition, in which groups identify a social problem... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Obesity has several health implications and social impacts. It can increase the susceptibility to illnesses like diabetes and cancer, and can even lead to death, as a result of deteriorating health (Stokes Preston, 2016). Obese individuals can also be deemed as impaired, as some are unable to adequately move. This results in labeling, in which obese individuals may be discriminated against when finding a job or entering an academic institution (Kornblum Julian, 2012). In addition, there may be social stereotypes and judgement from other individuals, which can result in depression or low self esteem. The United States has a high percentage of obesity, which could derive from the lack of exercise and consumption of processed, fatty foods. Obesity can also relate to socioeconomic factors, in which poor individuals and families are likelier to consume more processed, unhealthy foods. This is due to the idea that fast food and junk food tend to be cheaper than fresh produce and meats (Bean, Stewart, Olbrisch, 2008). In an experiment conducted by Meinfield, Doty, Fletcher, and Audwin in 2008, the prevalence of obesity in the US was seen in relation to those in poverty and lower incomes, uninsured individuals, and low education levels. This further reinforces the idea that obesity can be linked with socioeconomic
  • 8. An Idea That Protects A Proprietor s Land Title Indefeasibility Introduction Indefeasibility of title is an idea that protects a proprietor s land title. It allows for the proprietor to be immune from attack by adverse claims and interests in the land, in which he, the proprietor, is registered. This concept is based around the Torrens system in New Zealand, this concept consists of three main principles, the mirror, the curtain and the insurance principles. This essay will discuss the concept of indefeasibility of title, the Torrens system and how these have provided security of title for land owners in New Zealand. I will also report on two significant cases that will illustrate the concept of Indefeasibility of title, they are Frazer v Walker and Efstratiou, Glantschnig and Petrovic v Glatnschnig. Common Law Common law was implemented in New Zealand when the British settlers arrived. It was in accordance with English law and was known as the Deeds system and Act and was replaced by the Torrens system in 1870. Common Law basically stated that no one could confer a better title than the one they have and therefore if a deed was deemed invalid, so too was the title (Hinde 2013). Torrens System The Torrens system is what indefeasibility of title has been built around. It has existed since 1870 and has been refined and is now found in the Land Transfer Act 1952. The system, as mentioned earlier, consists of three principles, the mirror principle, the curtain principle and the insurance principle. The Mirror principle:

Coraghessan Boyle s Greasy Lake is a short story retelling a catalyst incidence that led to a mental change in a group of rebellious youths. The most critical scene where this change is most apparent surfaces after the bad guys left and the narrator was left plunged in the muddy river, contemplating his life and that of the corpse beside him. Through this short but intense story, Boyle has successfully integrated the elements of characterisation and setting to vividly illustrate the realization about life for the teenagers. The first to be exploited was how characterisation of the narrator and his friends in the scene has contributed to the theme of changing. The clear tactile imageries in the paragraph such... No greater symbolism can be expressed when the narrator mentioned the glinting keys like jewels in the first tapering shaft of sunlight . These are the concluding sign that indicated the rightful directions that the youths have taken and their concluded resolve to abstain from all badness from

This success would continue with the next major breakthrough advertising campaign created by Freeman. It was at Dancer Fitzgerald Sample that Freeman created his most famous advertisement; the 1984 Wendy s Where is the beef? campaign. The Wendy s campaign really brought to attention the creative genius of Cliff Freeman. Worthy of notice is the fact that Wendy s burgers were not as popular at the time of the advertisement. In fact Wendy s burgers were far behind in terms of exposure and sales of the two great burger chains, McDonalds and Burger King. It was in such an atmosphere and market that Cliff Freeman wanted to break into with his ingenuity. He was determined to show the world that Wendy s also had a great product that had a greater amount of beef content. Created in 1983 and first shown on television in January 1984, the advertisement featured three old ladies who were scrutinizing burgers that were resembling the burgers of competitors. • 13. Argument Of Athanasius And Arius At The Council Of Nicaea Critically evaluate the arguments of Athanasius and Arius at the Council of Nicaea The Patristic Era saw various controversies arising over the nature of Jesus Christ, which consequently lead to the establishment of the creed as an attempt to reject the heretical views held by proponents. An example of a heretical advocate is Arius, who suggested Christ was inferior to God, but still above other creatures (McGrath, 2001, p.358). However, early orthodox theologians disputed this idea due to the soteriological complications that accompanied it (Young, 2010, p.55). The central advocator of this dispute was Athanasius, who questioned how Arius belief allowed for salvation through Jesus Christ, which is a key orthodox belief identified within the Bible. Accordingly, this essay will critically evaluate the heretical opinion of Arius and determine how this Arian understanding was discarded by Athanasius and the Nicene Creed. It is important to note that the Arian thought that will be assessed is primarily presented to us by Athanasius, which will emphasise the conflicting orthodoxy/heretical opinion that was held. In addition to this, the essay will determine how the establishment of the creed at the Council of Nicaea, which was greatly influenced by Athanasius (McGrath 2001, p,12), was a failed attempt to expel all aspects of Arian heresy but a success in uniting Christians. Firstly, the definition of heresy will be explained as to not discredit Arius Chrisitian belief: Heresy is the acceptance of basic Christian principle but interpreting it in terms that are not consistent with orthodoxy (McGrath, 2001, p.153). Arius, as a Christian, accepted the supreme authority of an eternal God but he declared God alone is anarchos and Jesus has an arche (Williams, 2001, p.97); the suggestion of Jesus created existence makes him a distinctly separate nature from God. This a direct rejection of the Council of Nicaea s declaration of Jesus having the same essence of God; therefore, this Arian belief is a heresy through refusal not misinterpretation. This heretical view is further fought against through Athanasius extensive focus on Jesus death and the implications that this had on humanity as told by the Bible

These physicians, according to Coleman, are allowed to come to the conclusion of which patients is in need of their assistance and decides what information to discuss concerning treatment for their illness. Coleman says, Oregon Law gives physician too much power (Coleman). It allows the physician to say who is coherent enough to make the decision and if this is a good choice for that individual. Although, Coleman believes that physician is coercing patients, Tucker implies that doctors do not encourage patients to hasten death. In Tucker s article Arthur Caplan states, I was worried about people being pressured to do this. But this data confirms, for the seventh year, that the policy in Oregon is working. There is no evidence of abuse or coercion or misuse of the policy (Tucker). Tucker furthermore discuss that researchers have establish that Oregon does not have any apprehension of physicians assistance because they do not discriminate against patients. The authors have different points of view when discussing doctor assisted suicide effects to society. Coleman believes that people with disabilities

Autism, on the other hand, has not yet been fully linked back to a specific cause or reason. Because of this uncertainty, disgruntled parents have chosen to believe ideas with no scientific backing behind them besides what discredited scientist Wakefield said in a paper linking the MMR vaccineto autism along with some celebrities following Jenny McCarthy s Anti VaccinationMovement. This issue holds controversial value because of all of the parents whom refuse to vaccinate their children putting them at risk for the diseases that the vaccine is supposed to prevent. All of this is due to the one doctor who was bribed by a lawyer company four hundred thousand euros to bad mouth vaccinations to give them a case against it in a lawsuit. This lost him his medical license and even still is believed to this very day by a large group of people. This topic is talked about on the internet quite often and it s typically a debate between parents and doctors with little to no reasoning behind the parents perspective. The plague had a lot of harmful effects on the people and continent of Europe. The Black Death was a powerful, murderous, and rampant disease. The epidemic, commonly known today as the Black Death , began in the mid fourteenth century. There are many theories with evidence as to how the illness spread to different areas in different ways. One of these theories was that in 1347, the first confirmation of the plague occurred on the island of Sicily off the Italian coast. Another theory of the plague s begin and origin is that in 1346 in the European, Black Sea coastal city of Caffa, crew members from a recently docked ship were all ill from the plague. There is even another theory that the plague started affecting the southern region of Europe in 1348 due to trade routes from the middle east to Europe. At the start of the disease outbreak, the origins and spread of the disease were unknown. It was later discovered that fleas and rats were the main carriers of Pasteurella pestis. Even thinking of a mnemonic device for this exercise, though several came to mind, was challenging. The few that were taught in school were the first that come to mind, but these mnemonicdevices would only make sense in a literate society. Ong referenced spiritual words in particular, referencing the ways that liturgies are read aloud and sometimes scriptures/prayers are spoken aloud in order to show the sacred, communal nature of the text, for instance in the case of The Lord s Prayer. This style helped me to realize that even though they are in 4 th grade, the students do not have to be responsible for all of the reading all of the time. It is a good thing to give them a break every so often and just let them enjoy the story through following along. However, I did like that she would stop about every other paragraph and ask questions about tough vocabulary and what was happening in the story. This is a great way to make sure that the students were really following along and not staring at the floor or off into space. • 23. Heart Rate In The Heart The heart is a muscle that is used to pump blood throughout the body and helps circulate oxygen and red blood cells to muscles and organs. Heart rate is the measurement of how many times a person s heart beats in a certain amount of time. It is measure in BPM (beats per minute). Heart rate can be affected by the work of the muscles in the body. The more strain the muscles of the body are under or the more work they do means a higher heartrate. Recovery rate is derived from the measuring the heart rate after ceasing activity. The hearts need to speed up or speed down is triggered by the cell s need for oxygen. As one exercises, the muscles in the body need ATP so they can complete their respective functions. ATP is the energy source for the cells and it is required for the cell to do work. Oxygen is the final electron acceptor in the cell s production of ATP and is therefore required to make energy for the cell. Therefore, the tissue cells need oxygen to create energy and need energy to complete their functions. They get the oxygen from oxygenated blood circulating throughout the body. The more muscles work, the more oxygen they need which means the circulatory system must compensate and pass more oxygenated blood through to the muscles which need it to make energy. Therefore, the heart must work faster to pump this blood throughout the body at a faster pace, which increases the heart rate. The lungs also play an important role because the oxygen breathed in oxygenates the

Due to the fact that the medieval society was a religious society and that these religious leaders held a special relationship with God, it is no surprise that these individuals held the second highest social class position in the medieval time period (Feudalism and the Three Orders (Overview) 2). The last level of social class presented in Sir Gawain and the Green knight is represented by the noble knights of King Arthur s round table. In the European feudal system knight service was held due to the king only (knight service (feudal law) 1). Knights in medieval times were those who fought to protect the king and were often considered valiant and honorable heroes. These noble men were known for their bravery and ability to fight. This well known argument is named after the one whom the argument says cannot possibly overtake the tortoise he is pursuing. This argument on Achilles helps show us how Zeno proved his point. And because Achilles is a swift and mighty warrior, and the Tortoise is heavy and slow, the Tortoise is given a head start of ten meters. However, with this advantage, the Tortoise will always be ahead of Achilles no matter how quick he catches up with it. But Zeno is giving the argument that whenever Achilles catches up to the animal, it would, at that moment, advances a certain distance. So by giving the Tortoise a head start, Achilles put himself in a situation where he can never catch up to his opponent. These lead us to the implicit premises underlying the argument about Achilles and the Tortoise. First, Achilles always takes some amount of timeto cover a certain distance. And though the Tortoise is slow, it is always moving ahead. Because the animal covers some distance in every interval of time, it seems impossible to know the time at the end of which Achilles has caught the Tortoise. Therefore, we can infer from the premises that in each moment that Achilles must be catching up the distance between them, the Tortoise will be adding a new distance however

Along with the Knight, his father, they are the only nobility that are on the pilgrimage to Canterbury. The Squire is a courteous and serviceable person especially in serving his father. He is a free spirited romantic who is twenty years old. Although the Squire, as he often sings, is spontaneous and free, he has performed bravely in his limited battle experience with strength and agility in honor of his lady. Chaucer describes him as a lover and a cadet showing how he truly represents the romantic spirit of youth (82). The Masque Of Blackness Essay In 17th Century England, the idea of different races and cultures was new, and therefore, a novelty; anything that differed from the norm was highly valued and sought after. Noble people and professional actors took advantage of this and put on The Masque of Blackness, a production in which many of its actors appeared in blackface. The masques were elaborate performances, made to praise the monarch, with larger than life costumes and staging that combined songs, dances, and acting into a presentation that depicted gods and goddesses, and pastoral settings. Although the play is meant to be for entertainment, it begins to cross lines when the performance becomes a spectacle of racism and exoticism. In Benjamin Jonson s The Masqueof... This influx of new cultures, races, religions, and other ideas created the perfect chance for Jonson to bring these concepts to the court stage and please the monarchs whom the praise would be focused on. The Masque of Blackness first premiered in 1605 in the banquet hall of Whitehall Palace in London, England at the height of global expansion. The banquet hall itself was temporary at this time, but was later built by the architect, Inigo Jones, who also staged The Masque of Blackness. It was rebuilt in 1619 after the previous hall burned down in a fire and completed. The hall was used for entertainment purposes, especially designed to put on the elaborate masques and other performances. Queen Anne and her ladies of the court got to be the main characters of the masque because of Anne s status and because she chose the topic. Jonson annotates in the masque: Hence, because it was her majesty s will to have them blackmoors at first, the invention was derived by me. If he wanted to maintain his position and recognition, Jonson had to cater to the monarch s wishes for the

In this report I will be writing about all of the different ways Pandora is incorporated in todays society. Pandora was the first woman on earth and she was created by Zeus as a punishment to Prometheus. Zeus gave Pandora and a box to Epimetheus and told him not to open it.
