Teacher websites are designed to communicate important information to students, families, and colleagues about what is happening in the classroom. They can publish student work and share classroom activities and events. Teacher blogs allow catching student interest while informing others, and can be posted to weekly, monthly, or for each new student group. Blogs allow interaction between students and teachers outside of school. Teacher wikis can be used for group projects where students collaboratively gather and edit information on a topic to create a wiki, promoting collaboration and interaction. Monitoring of posts is important to prevent inappropriate content.
