This document discusses the properties and efficacy of Cefrone®, an antibiotic produced by MUP Factories. Cefrone® is a broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Pseudomonas. It has been used successfully as a monotherapy in some cases where dual antibiotic treatment may otherwise be used. Cefrone® also demonstrates high tissue penetration and stability against beta-lactamases.

Cefrone® is active in vitro against a wide range
of aerobic and anaerobic, gram-positive and gram-
negative pathogens.
The bactericidal action results from the
inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis.
 It is one of few cephalosporin antibiotics
effective in treating Pseudomonas bacterial
infections which are otherwise resistant to
these antibiotics.
