- 5. Description This specie is 15_18cm long. They are more different than their close relatives Bohemian waxwing in size. They are known as bombycilla due to their silky soft plumage Males and females are look similar. The cedar waxwing is extinct specie. They are often seen in flocks. Sound of water attract them.
- 6. Appearance They have beautiful prominent crest. Adults are less intensley colored & lack red feathers Juveniles are marked with dusky streaks. Cedar waxwing has large pale brown head, short neck, and short, wide bill. The wings are broad and sharp and grey short tail and square-tipped. Their plumage is light yellow.
