This document discusses the strengths, opportunities, and weaknesses of CRTs (reporting tables) in Mexico's AFOLU (Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use) sector. For livestock, a strength is characterizing production systems, while an opportunity is defining criteria to standardize information. A weakness is the diversity and resources needed to obtain information across Mexico and other countries. For lands, a strength is coherence in inventories and monitoring, while the diversity of flora poses a future challenge. For non-CO2 emissions sources, a strength is traceability in agriculture, while an opportunity is defining criteria to characterize production systems for monitoring.

Strengths
• It encourages the improvement of
inventories by promoting the
characterization of the livestock production
systems of the countries.
Opportunities
• Define criteria for the characterization of
livestock production systems and thus,
homogenize the information among the
different countries.
Weaknesses
• Mexico and the region’s countries are very
diverse, and require financing and time to
obtain the information and create capacity to
the CRT.

Strengths
• It fosters coherence in the
inventory and the strengthening
of the territory’s monitoring.
Weaknesses
• Countries like Mexico, which
contain a great portion of the
world’s flora diversity, have a great
challenge for the future reflecting
this diversity in carbon fluxes.

Strengths
• Promotes the traceability of
emitions in agricultural activities.
Opportunities
• Define criteria for the
characterization of production
