I agree with the Chorus and their view that Clytemnestra should not have murdered
her husband out of revenge. The Chorus says no one will stand by you, you have
no allies. Revenge will come and you will pay, blow for blow (Agamemnon .1429
.1430). Here the Chorus is saying Clytemnestra will get what she deserves for this
and that she will not get away with murdering her husband. I agree with this
because none of the citizens will stand by a queen who murdered the king. Also, her

book Nervous Conditions. I will be concentrating on the female characters and their
encounters with the cultural oppressive boundaries set upon them.
In African Tradition women were/are seen less valuable than men and treated as
second class citizens and in most black families the men are higher on the patriarchy
and placed in the centre of family and community life. In marriage women were/are

A female child, under 16 years of age, has been dealing with a number of health
issues for several years. Among them are STDs, bipolar, pregnancy/miscarriage,
suicide attempts, and newly discovered cervical cancer. She has a history of drugs
and alcohol and is about 4 weeks into another pregnancy. She has been expelled
from school and is suppose to have home schooling three times a week. These are
canceled most of the time because she is either not at home, or is not able to function
that day. This child has decided not to have any treatment for the cervical cancer as
this would prevent her from being able to become pregnant in the future. She has also
decided to have the baby. Apparently she does not understand the ramifications
involved if she does not have the cancer surgery/treatment with regard to the safety
and healthof the child she is carrying as well as her own. There have been numerous
professional people involved in the ongoing care of this child. Various doctors,

school councilors have been looking out for the welfare of this child for at least 3

replace the original. The new title that best reflects its theme, Desire of Women
Between the War. Lysistrata, tells a story of women that are tired seeing their men
going to war and are not pleasuring their ladies. These women from the Athens and
Sparta decided to have a meeting to discuss how to punish the men who are going to
the Peloponnesian War. Aristophanes explains to the women that war and territorial

different mood and tone in the openings to the story. He uses words like rather a wild
life , delightful city of our sojourn , idling about , and splendid city . In A Terribly
Strange Bed the city in which the story is set, is praised in the story, although not
