Newton. Father of modern science, Sir Isaac Newton was born on January 4th, 1643 in
Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth, United Kingdom and died on March 31st 1727, Kensington,
London, United Kingdom. He was an English physicist and mathematician who formulated three
laws of motion that help explain some of the very important principles of physics. Some of
Newton s laws could only be proved under certain conditions; but actual observation and trial
experiments assured the validity of his work. According to Isaac Newton s laws he tells us how
objects move by describing the relationship between force and motion.
The First Law of Isaac Newton s laws of motion states that an object at rest will stay at rest until
