The shooting schedule itself included all the necessary information needed to be
organised and to hopefully keep on track, these were timings, scene number, night or
day, location (Forest or House), short scene description, any props needed. The
printed schedule allowed space underneath for any notes to be added if timings or
schedules changed, this way I could alert the director of any required information.
On day one we did fall behind by two hours but I had told the group before hand
that I had schedule it so we could overrun by 2.5 hours if need be, even though we
didn t keep to schedule I still let the director and the crew know how behind on
time we were, what scenes were coming up and progress reports of the day. With
regards to lunch I checked with everyone on set for it to be pushed back a little to fit
in the morning scenes, even though it s annoying they were still happy that I had
checked with them beforehand adding to the approachable aspects of my role.
However when I found out we would be reshooting I should have created a second
shooting schedule so we could keep organised on day two, doing this would allow
the director to be certain on what shots needed to be re filmed and if any audio
needed to be captured. I did have notepad with some notes on shots but a shooting
schedule would have been more ordered and precise so we could have been there for
as little time as possible.

rough life in the camps, but this book really opened my eyes to how bad it really
was. People who are planning on being history majors or are going into politics
should read this book at least twice. This would be so that they make sure that
something like this does not happen again. Also, more so for the history majors, to
teach other people the effects that living in the camps had on people. One example

In this experiment, 2 ethyl 1,3 hexanediol was reacted with sodium hypochlorite in
an attempt to identify how sodium hypochlorite acts as a reagent. Due to the nature
of 2 ethyl 1,3 hexanediol we are able to determine if sodium hypochlorite is a
selective reagent. 2 ethyl 1,3 hexanediol has 2 alcohol functional groups with one
being primary and the other being secondary. A selective reagent is one which
oxidizes one functional group although its in the presence of 2 or more.
In order to determine when the reaction came to completion, a starch/iodine test was
used. The starch/ iodine test indicates if excess reagent, sodium hypochlorite, is still
present in the reaction vessel. The excess sodium hypochlorite oxidizes the iodide in
the strip forming a triiodide anion. This anion then reacts with starch changing the
strip to a deep blue color. The reagent is in excess when there is no longer any 2
ethyl 1,3 hexanediol reactant left for it to react with. At thirty minutes when there
was no color change this was due to reactant still being present thus resulting in no

Initially, the entire impure product was mixed with diethyl ether for extraction. Upon
mixing, the solution separates into two layers; an organic layer and an aqueous
layer. The organic layer contains the desired product. Additional extractions using
sodium carbonate solution and sodium hydroxide solution were used as well to

I spent more than 2 hours for searching it, and still haven t purchased it yet, and
delayed many tasks. I have so many things to finish in this weekend, and it was just
a simple decision making. It was urgent, and it was not so significant money to my
life, so it didn t matter whatever I chose. I should have simplified it and focused on

The Muslim community has faced many microassaults, microinsults, and
microinvalidations in America. The microassaults reflect the conscious
discrimination about a population. Many of the microassaults consisted of people
stating that Arabs or Middle Eastern citizens are terrorists. Because of September
11, 2011, many have condemned one group of citizens as the reason for war in
America. The microinsults consisted of every Muslim that comes to an airport
being required to be checked, in hopes of safety. However, it is an unconscious

Elizabeth Peal and Wallace Lambert published a monograph titled The Relation of
Bilingualism to Intelligence in 1962. They directed research in Montreal with 10 year
old children where they analyzed the performances of monolinguals to bilingual
speakers of French and English on standardized tests of intelligence. Before this study
was conducted, bilingualism was thought of negatively because there was concern
around bilingual children and the disadvantages of learning two languages at once.
Some disadvantages included lower intelligence, a languagehandicap , poor linguistic
capabilities, more grammatical errors, reduced vocabulary, among numerous other
factors researchers believed to be true. Peal and Lambert s discoveries were the first
research study that contradicted the negative opinions noted previously in research
and underlined the positive effects of bilingualism in relation to cognitive
development. Studies after Peal and Lambert s continued to show that bilingualism
has more positive, beneficial outcomes rather than focus on the negative ones. These
positive outcomes include better cognitive control abilities, improved executive
functioning, and protection against cognitive decline. Therefore, knowing two
languages is greater than knowing just one.
