Opioid addicted babies need treatment in the hospital setting to help them through
the withdrawal process. Studies are showing what medications to use to help
reduce the length of hospital stay. Today, many neonates stay in the hospital much
longer than years past, this is generally due to being born addicted to opioids. The
United States is suffering from an epidemic of opioid abuse. When a pregnant
mother is addicted to opioids these drugs cross the placenta, causing the neonates to
be born addicted. According to Hall et al. (2015), this epidemic can cause opioid
misuse, overdose or even death. When looking at the United States from 2005 2011,
more than 14% of pregnant women were dispensed an opioid at some time in their
pregnancy , (Hall, 2015, pg.40). Depending on the length of medication used and
timing during the pregnancy will determine how a neonate will withdraw after birth.

As I watched the film, I was shocked and disturbed at the extreme measures that
was taken to experiment on ways to get a person s hearing back throughout history.
The thought of putting someone in a plane and doing loops in the air brings out the

Objectives: The aim of this study is to find out the prevalence of neurological
manifestations of falciparum malaria and the outcome of falciparum malaria in
general and of neurological involvement of falciparum malaria in particular.
Materials and Methods:
A prospective cross sectional hospital based study of 125 adult falciparum malaria
patients using simple, direct, standardized questionnaire including history, lab
investigations and neurological examination from January to December 2014.
Results:
The commonest age group affected was 15 30 years (62.4%). 48.6% presented with
neurological manifestations on admission. Altered sensorium was the most frequent
neurological manifestation, followed by convulsions and hiccups. The mortality rate
was very high with neurological manifestations. Case fatality rate was highest with
convulsion. Perception about neurological manifestation was poor among tribal.
Health care providers also failed to diagnose on initial visit.
Conclusion:
Falciperum malaria with neurological involvement is associated with increased
mortality. By documenting different neurological patterns of falciparum malaria
mortality and morbidity rates can be reduced by early diagnosis and management.
Tribals and health personnel should be trained to make them aware of the different
neurological presentations of this disabling disease.

Shapeshifters by Aimee Meredith Cox. Shapeshifters was introduced towards the end

instead of the parole reoffending. Technical violations can range from a curfew to

This can be any medium such as cellular or satellite transmission. MANETs can
work both as a host and a router. Since, there is no central infrastructure and nodes
are free to move, the neighboring nodes help in data transmission that are not in the
communication range. This can be achieved by dividing the MANETs into two types
of networks i.e. single hop network and multihop network. In a single hop wireless
network all the nodes communicate directly with every other node. In multi hop
network, the neighboring nodes help in transmitting the data that are not its
communication range, which is an added advantage to MANETs. Due to this wide
distribution of MANETs makes it vulnerable o malicious attacks. For example, due
to lack of protection, attackers can easily induce malicious nodes in the network. In

phase formation in these layers.
EDS analysis of this sample in Figure 5 reveals that these structures contains more
diffused Ni into Ti64 region than Ti in the NiCr region. From the bonding
perspective this is good since it prevents Ti from diffusing towards the Fe rich region
and subsequently prevents the formation of Fe Ti based intermetallic phase formation
that are inherently brittle and mostly responsible for reducing the bond strength of
the joint [2, 3, 5].

resources. Anyone who would plan these parties would have to take in account for
