collar crimes have two traits in common, an objective and a modus operandi, but the
major difference is that a white collar criminal has a plan and also the ability,
knowledge and technology to execute it (Nevis, 2012).
White collar crimes can occur at any occupational level and affects all parts of
society, from big businesses to individuals. Some associate the definition of white
collar crime mainly to economic crime, but others include corporate crimes like
environmental law violations and health and safety law violations (Barnett, 1999). It
is interesting to note that corporate crimes such as environmental pollution typically
involve corporate personnel on various levels for purposes of implementation, from
CEOs to low level workers (Payne, 2013). Overall this project will deal with

Art, like everything in society, evolves at a certain space. During the Renaissance,
art was always pushing the limits from what was previously seen or created. The
Renaissance was a revival of Classical Antiquity and the artists went above the
standard and created pieces that were intricate and visually pleasing. While the
Baroque period was also a time of revival, it mostly revolved around the Catholic
religion. Artists wanted to portray classic religious scenes in a more expressive way
because during this time, protestantism was on the rise and in order to try and
squash this new religion, the Catholics reinvented some great religious pieces but in
a more emotional way. Through these following pieces, the evolution of art and style
is evident. The first piece comes from the year 1320 ,which is considered the Proto
Renaissance, and it is from Giotto di Bondone. It is call The Adoration of the Magi
and it depicts the scene of Jesus birth and how the three wise men came and paid
their respects for the new king, Jesus. This piece helps you understand the switch
in style of art because it allows the viewer to understand what the basic standard of
excellent art was before the Renaissance. This work is tempera on wood and you

There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so.[1] Hamlet: Act 2,
Scene 2. Contemplating this interesting idea, severe doubt shall rise. Is good
relative?. How do we define good ?. Is not good based on facts?. Are facts
themselves relative?. If facts are relative, does this whole life make sense?. To get
some adequate answers, we should take a look on relativism, a criticizing look in
fact. In this paper, I will argue that relativism can not be true. I shall also try to
disprove relativism using one of the arguments by Plato. It was first noted in his book
Theaetetus in which Socrates had great debates with the relativists. The argument
goes as follows:
Protagoras holds a contradiction
1: Protagoras believes truth is a matter of opinion
2: I believe relativism is false
3: If p2 then a relativist should believe my idea regarding his belief is true First of
all, a definition of relativism should be introduced. Relativism is the philosophical
view that no universal truth exists. Every fact and opinion are true within themselves
relative to their holder [2]. This very doctrine started with Protagoras, the well
known for his achievements in mathematics. Protagoras held some interesting views.
His famous quote Of all things the measure is Man, of the things that are, that they
are, and of the things that are not, that they are not sums it all [3]. He believed that
truth is a matter of opinion and a man is not entitled to his only opinion but to other
men s opinions despite contradicts may exist [4]. This philosophical view, held also
by sophists, stated that truth may not be relative to human only but to different
cultures, societies or different ages. This became very clear when Thermasys
defined justice as only doing what is in the interest of the strongest, a definition
refuted easily by Socrates [5]. To be clearer, relativism holds no universals but things
relative to them it measures. Through this paper, I shall break the whole case into
fragments.
Back to our first premise, I should try to explain why a relativist could hold such a
view. Most of the relativists, including Protagoras, believed that knowledge is
gathered by experience, a doctrine they share with empiricists [6].

journey of seeking peace in the midst of desperation. Aristophaneswrites of a woman
trying to bring an end to the destructive Peloponnesian Warbetween Athens and
Sparta while Lee s version of Lysistrataaims to bring peace between two gangs
whose fights routinely spill into Chicago s streets, killing many innocent people in
the crossfire. In fact, despite the radical difference in setting, both versions of the
story share a numerous amount of similarities in terms of plot and theme.
However, I will argue that Spike Lee s tale is, like Aristophanes , trying to instill a
message about the need for peace, but also telling a story of self development with
regard to Lysistrata herself. The Ancient Greek version of Lysistrata was nearly
mythic, commanding the respect of her peers almost without question. By contrast,
modern day Chicago Lysistrata has to grow into the role of leader, gradually
waking up to the severity of the chaos of her home then making the effort to push
for accord. Making this version of the heroine more human allows Spike Lee to
create a model for ordinary people in this era to take charge and put an end to
senseless suffering in

Reservoir
For our senior project, we analyzed cyclical steam injections in a heavy oil reservoir
using reservoir simulations. We began the project as though we had been contracted
to analyze a cyclical steam injection project in a pay zone similar to the Clearwater
formation in Cold Lake, Alberta. In this heavy, dead oil reservoir the facilities,
injectors, and producer are already set up in the field with a seven spot orientation.
The company wants further analysis on the project once the market declined,
requesting reservoir simulations be conducted over a six year period before
proceeding. Through the program CMG STARS, we were able to simulate
production in a field with similar characteristics, employing field data from technical
papers referenced in this paper. The complex equations simultaneously solved in
CMG STARS including multiphase fluid flow and conservation equations make the
program an invaluable reservoir evaluation tool. Sensitivity analysis was conducted to
monitor the production responses to changes in steam injection parameters,
compiling over 40 simulations. The injection was optimized with a total of 35
simulations after identifying the most significant parameters impacting production.
Net present values and cumulative production of oil and water were analyzed to
construct a recommendation for the project. In this paper, we will discuss the model
construction, sensitivity analysis, optimization, and economic analysis in greater

Pulmonary drug delivery of peptides and proteins is highly desirable because of
many advantages such as rapid and predictable onset of action, high relative
bioavailability and non invasive mode of administration which improves patient
compliance. In the current study the effect of sugar carrier type (trehaloseas non
reducing and maltose as reducing sugar), hydroxy propyl ОІ cyclodextrin
concentration (0%, 0.02% and 0.04%) and adding tween 80 as surfactant on
physicochemical stability and aerosol performance of spray freeze dried salmon
calcitonin was investigated. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)
analysis indicated that cyclodextrin concentration had the most important effect on
powder s chemical stability and by increasing the concentration of cyclodextrin
stability of the formulations increase dramatically. Based on the chemical stability
data four formulations (chemical stability over than 90% ) was selected for further
examinations. Fluorescence spectroscopy and circular dichroism data suggest that
these chemically stable formulations are structurally stable too. Aerosol performance
data shows that surfactant free formulations produce higher fine particle fraction
(approximately 70%) than surfactant containing formulations (approximately 50%). It
may be due to the more cohesive structure of surfactant containing formulations.
