Pseudotuberculosis is a chronic infectious disease that affects sheep and goats, causing enlargement and abscesses in superficial lymph nodes and thick, purulent discharges. Clinical signs include fever, anorexia, dullness, and acute bronchopneumonia from abscesses in bronchial lymph nodes. Treatment involves intramuscular injections of streptopenicillin twice daily for 3-5 days and analgine injections for fever relief.
