2. Clothing
For clothing, my group and I
opted for simple black
clothes for our female
protagonist. We did this in
order for the character to be
more personal and intimate
for our target audience,
wearing what many
teenagers would wear as
well as the black clothes
signifying danger as well as
misfortune which will await
her.

3. Indoor Filming
We filmed the majority of
our scenes indoors as real
media texts such as
Unfriended use domestic
settings in order to be
more personal for their
audience to frighten them
more. We also often filmed
at night indoors as we, as
people, are more
vulnerable at night.

4. School Filming
As our target audience are
our age, we have used the
setting of school in order to
make the scenes more
intimate and relatable
therefore when the school
becomes ominous in a
scene of our trailer, where it
appears as if someone if
behind her, the audience
are more likely to be
frightened.

5. Outdoor Filming
Finally, we used a forest at
the beginning of our trailer
to not only distort the
viewers with a location
used once but also use the
Enigma Code to raise a
question of why it is there.
As the forest is empty, the
viewers and characters will
feel isolated and
vulnerable. With the
question of why something
is being buried, the scene
will evoke danger and fear.
