  • #8 In the report of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) on “ Human Resource and Skill Requirement of the Tourism Sector” prepared by the agency IMacs (ICRA Management Consulting Services Limited) from SDC, the following statement has been given : “ As per the Planning Commission an investment of Rs.10 Lakh creates 78 jobs in the Tourism Sector while same generates just 18 jobs in the Manufacturing and 45 jobs in the Agriculture Sector.” Note: No further details on this aspect are available in the NSDC report.
