Rules of Framing
Detailed explanation:
Rules of framing refers to making the subject of the picture to be the main
attention. This can be achieved by using focus on the camera so everything
else is blurred out and the subject is the focus of the image. In addition, you
can block everything else, in the picture, out by the use of a whiteboard so it’s
easier to find the focus.
How am I used in film?
This is used in film to make the frame appear less busy and to put the
attention on a singular subject.
The rules of third
Detailed explanation
The rule of thirds is a concept used in film, in which the frame is separated
into nine imaginary segments. This constructs reference points which act as
guides for framing the picture.
How am I used in a film?
Points of interest must appear to be at 1/3 and 2/3 of the way up the frame,
and not in the centre.

  • #7 This is a mid shot
  • #8 Please redo, a midshot is from the waist up
  • #10 This should be a facial focus, such as the eyes
