1. House
I plan to use this as my first location because it
immediately sets the scene and is where my
protagonist will come home to after finishing
school. This links into the song because the
protagonist hates his life and prefers to live in
his dream, to escape. The fact that it is semi
detached may make it more relatable to my
target audience because it is likely that my
audience will come from a middle class
background and therefore they may have a
semi dethatched house.

2. Bedroom
I will use a bedroom, purely because the
premise of my music video is for the
protagonist to delve into a dream and
therefore he has to have a bed to sleep in.
I am going to use a stereotypical male
teenagers bedroom because it allows for
male teenagers to connect with my music
video. The room will be tidy, and well
presented because the protagonist values
his sleep and therefore he needs to be
comfortable.

3. Car
I am going to use a Vauxhall Corsa because of
the fact that it is commonly associated with a
first car. This would draw a link between my
music video and my target audience because
my target audience will be mostly teenagers
and therefore they will be learning to drive and
perhaps, for many this may be their first car. I
will use this car because the shots of the
outside I can use whilst being in the car will
create a notion that he is being somehow
transported to a different place. The car will be
presented as clean because the protagonist will
enter the car, and everything is clean and idyllic
in the dream. This links to my target audience
because it is a desirable car for a teenager and
therefore this will attract them. The exterior of
the car is white, which I find a popular colour,
so this will further attract my teenage target
audience.

4. Ogden
Ogden is on the moors, in a secluded
countryside area in the most Northern
part of Calderdale. I have chosen Ogden
as my final location because of the fact
that it is visibly stunning and therefore it
can be considered an idyll which would be
exhibited in a dream. This location is to
strengthen the fact that he is in a dream
and the fact that there is room for
creativity. Ideally, I would like to film on a
sunny day to represent the positivity of
the song and signify that the protagonist
is in a dream.
