The Cambium Networks PMP 450 Access Point is a dual-band point-to-multipoint wireless system that provides over 90 Mbps of throughput. It uses 2x2 MIMO-OFDM technology and GPS synchronization to achieve high data rates over long ranges of up to 25 miles for 5 GHz and 40 miles for 2.4 GHz. The PMP 450 offers flexible deployment options and interoperability with Cambium Networks' remote modules.
This tutorial explains the 802.11n concepts in a simple and easy to understand manner. It talks about different types of MIMO improvements (diversity, MRC, spatial multiplexing, space time coding). It also provides a summary of 802.11n packet formats and various capacity/throughput related optimizations proposed in 802.11n (PLCP improvements, BlockAcks, A-MPDU & A-MSDU Aggregation).
Achieving repeatable wireless throughput measurements under realistic conditions has been a monumental challenge for the wireless industry. The reason? Throughput of wireless links is a function of many variables, all of which must be controlled to get repeatable measurements. For benchmark testing, throughput has to be maximized in a manner that is repeatable and reproducible at multiple labs around the world. The challenges and methods of achieving maximum possible throughput and repeatable measurements are the subject of this talk.

GiGAwire : Super Speed Internet Over Telephone LinePeace Technology
GiGA Wire is the broadband access network solution based on ITU-T G.hn standard. Conventionally G.hn supports broadband access within home while GiGA Wire extends its applicability to the premises environment including large apartment complex and office buildings. It provides crosstalk mitigation and auto pairing features to support multiple users using bundle cable. With our GiGA Wire solution, you can easily improve Internet connection speed up to 10 times over VDSL in the premises environment where the optical fiber cannot be deployed.
Peripheral Slits Microstrip Antenna Using Log Periodic Technique for Digital ...TELKOMNIKA JOURNAL
This paper proposed a new design of log periodic microstrip antenna using peripheral slits for
dgital video broadcasting applications in DKI Jakarta. Applying peripheral slits can be reduced the
dimension of antenna up to 62.6% with its dimension 400 mm x 150 mm using 4 patches in different
frequencies. The patches are one another connected using log periodic technique. The measurement
results showed that the antenna was operating at frequency ranges of 450 MHz to800 MHz with
impedance bandwidth of 350 MHz, VSWR ≤ 2 and return loss ≤ -10dB. The proposed antenna could
receive 11 DVB stations with high definition quality pictureand only channel number 24, such as RCTI,
Global TV and MNC TV can not reveive signals as expected.
