BEST PLATFORM
The best platform for my classroom is the Chrome/Google Apps. This is the platform of choice
for my school because our school’s Learning Management System (LMS) is Google Classroom.
We are currently a one to one school using Google Chromebooks. Though we have

Chromebooks the addition of a Bring Your Own Device setting would be beneficial for students.
However, our county is an economical distressed county and student personal devices are
limited, therefore, a number of students will continue to depend on the use of Chromebooks. The
use of Google Classroom is economically feasible for our system and is likely to continue for the
foreseeable future. Google Classroom, along with Google Drive and Google Suit are useable
across multiple devices. For our school and my classroom Chrome/Google Apps is he best
platform at this time.
STUDENTS WITHOUT DEVICES
Fortunately, our school has sufficient numbers of Chromebooks that we have a one to one ratio
of students and Chromebooks. Because of this existing situation it will be easy to provide
students without their own devices with Chromebooks.
STUDENT GROUPING
While there would be a limited amount of individual work with the devices, the bulk of the
grouping would be in partners. I have discovered that my high school students usually work best
with partners. Larger groups often become more overwhelming but working with partners is
usually beneficial. This is especially true when the instructors carefully pairs students and plans
for differentiation.
