The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest building in the world at 2,717 feet tall. It has 163 floors above ground and features residential apartments, a hotel, offices, and observatories. The Y-shaped tower was designed to reduce wind impact and has over 57 elevators that can travel up the building at 10 meters per second. The Burj Khalifa cost $1.5 billion to build and opened in 2010.
