OUR VISION
To truly be the Church on the hill with the CROSS,
reaching out to the Gem Valley and beyond to the whole
world. We believe all generations need the Gospel, and
have a special concern for the younger generations to
come to Christ, and to His Church. Hence, we will re-
main committed to effective ministry to all age groups;
but we will specifically strive to strengthen our ministry
to youth, as God grants us opportunity.
Welcome

 I’d like to extend a grateful thank you to all five helping hands ministry men

you who helped price Ed’s workshop items for a yard sale. Thank you also,
ladies who came and helped me on the day of my yard sale, or who have
helped me pack. Eleven of you gave up your time to give me much needed
assistance and I thank the Lord for you. You have revealed your faith in
action for Him. God bless you Madeline
 ENC Church Family. I would like to thank everyone who prayed for me

WORLD MISSION PRAYERS
PRAISES
 Praise the Lord that 15 high school students on the North Andean
Field (Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela) recently accepted
Christ through the grace of God and the work of a Point Loma
Nazarene University’s Love Works team. Pray for the new believ-
ers as they begin their journey with Christ. Pray that local Naza-
rene leaders will be able to disciple them as they grow in faith.
Pray also for the Point Loma team as they continue traveling in
South America.
 Despite recent laws that have resulted in church closures and
mergers, churches and leaders are not discouraged. Praise the
Lord for sustaining and encouraging the church in these areas.
PRAY FOR
 In some countries, new Nazarene churches do not have funds to
purchase or build a facility, so they rent. Occasionally a pattern
emerges in relationship to landlords: the churches grow at the
rented facilities, but because the land is not theirs, the landowner
begins to reject the church and the ministry is denied access and
then people begin to disperse. Ask the Lord to cover the new
churches in their current facilities and bar unreasonable landlords
for moving them out.
 Pray for Phil and Juliene Munts and their family as they follow
God’s leading to gradually establish a café ministry in southern
Sweden, and as they reach out to acquaintances and neighbors
with the love of Jesus Christ. Ask God to bless and guide the de-
velopment of their ministry.
 The annual Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) will be observed Sun-
day, May 19, the day of Pentecost. The GDOP is a call to encoun-
ter God in repentance and prayer for the glory of Christ and the
blessing of the nations.
 Ask the Lord to bring a peaceful and reasonable resolution to the
issues surrounding a large piece of property owned by the El Li-
mon Church of the Nazarene in Maracay, Venezuela. The prop-
erty currently includes a large church, district center, and district
parsonage.
