OUR VISION
To truly be the Church on the hill with the CROSS,
reaching out to the Gem Valley and beyond to the whole
world. We believe all generations need the Gospel, and
have a special concern for the younger generations to
come to Christ, and to His Church. Hence, we will re-
main committed to effective ministry to all age groups;
but we will specifically strive to strengthen our ministry
to youth, as God grants us opportunity.
Welcome

 Dear Beloved Congregation, As many of you know I have
made a prayerful decision to move permanently to California to
live closer to my children on Monday, October 7th. As I leave,
I’m taking all of you with me in spirit with many fun and spiri-
tual memories. So many of you, with Christian love, bright-
ened some very dark days for me for awhile - especially the
Aubreys, Helping Hands Ministry, Peggy Kilgore, Rosana Lit-
tle’s Bible Study ladies, and Betty Cook. Realizing that God
our Father keeps us all in the palm of His hand, we are really
never separated from Him or from each other, even by the
grave. Thank you so much. God bless all of you! Love,
Madeline Powell

WORLD MISSION PRAYERS
PRAISES
David Gill is the pastor of the House of Prayer and Revival Church of
the Nazarene in La Vega, Dominican Republic. In late June, he visited
the Caribbean island of Curacao to attend an art exposition. While
there, Pastor Gill had several opportunities to share the Gospel and
people accepted Christ as savior. The Mesoamerica Region has been
praying for and planning a strategy for entering Curacao. Their
prayers were answered as God used the pastor’s trip to an art exposi-
tion to open doors of future ministry. Praise God!
