  1. When the element of trust is low amongst the members in your team or between you and your client, it negatively impacts your relationship with them. This leads to the level of enthusiasm of the concerned person dropping and hence, a low speed of execution. With lower speeds of execution and an extended time frame to complete the same task, the costs involved will automatically tend to rise.
  2. On the other hand, a high level of trust leads to a faster execution speed and therefore, lesser costs.
  3. The simplest way of showing them you care is by investing in them. Speaking of investing, replace trust with money in a bank account. Just like the way you deposit money in your bank to withdraw from it whenever you need it at a later stage, in the same way, every time you do something for your colleague or client, you are dropping an investment coin in them. This builds their trust in you which in turn helps you receive their favour at a later stage. In other words, if there are no deposits made in the trust bank, it creates an empty account from which no withdrawals can be made. On the other hand, if you’ve invested time to understand and connect with them, you’ve built a positive connect.  This positive connect is the investment you’ve made into the trust account. In doing this, you’re not just making them feel like you’ve invested in them, but also making them open to your ideas. In simpler words, you now have an influence over them and can withdraw at any given point of time.
