Family Background
o My Father, Chetan Achantani along with few others in our joint family formed Asian Biscuits which was
one of the best brands of the biscuit industry in North India. He is now running a confectionary wholesale
shop in Azad Market.
o My uncle, Sandeep Achantani is a management graduate from IIM-C; he has done his b-tech from IIT
Delhi. He is presently working in a management consultancy firm.
o My Wife Jyoti Achantani (Makhija Earlier) is working with Max New York Life Insurance as a Manager-
Finance. She is a CA by qualification.
o We are a close knit family. My relatives and friends are spread across India, Thailand and US and I have
no hesitation in asking them for a favour as I am everybody’s favourite ;)
