SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE:
 20+ years of consulting / project management encompassing the development, migration,
implementation, and support of Cerner information technology systems in single net and
multi-net multi-facility rollouts.
 Technical manager for multi-tiered systems including: Intel, Citrix, Oracle, AIX, Print
Services, and FSI/MDI
 Certified class instructor for Cerner Millennium: Architecture, Troubleshooting, and
Issue Management
ACHIEVEMENTS
• Received Cerner Top Gun Award (only awarded to top 5% of the company)
• Received 2000 Hour Consulting Award from Health Data Specialists, LLC
• Primary driver of Navigator Solutions. Led the charge to solve issues one time and create
knowledge articles that could be posted and searched on corporate website for both
associates and clients. Proved concept with pilot group and reduced overall incoming
issues to the support organization saving the company valuable time and money.
• Architect and creator of Drive Layouts. Designed and developed software and
documentation on how to install Cerner Millennium on AIX and VMS systems.
Consulted with resident experts and documented how the system should be laid down on
SSA drives for optimal performance and stability. The implementation by subsequent
system engineers saved rework that was prevalent across the company. Saving client and
Cerner time and money to implement Cerner Millennium with high satisfaction.
• Worked directly with the CIO of Cerner in order to design and implement a tracking and
accountability process between two critical organizations at Cerner, the Immediate
Response Center (IRC) and SolutionWorks (SWx), ultimately reducing the number of
after hour pages to associates that had already put in a full day. This process enhanced
the knowledge of the IRC and solved critical issues faster than in previous years.
• Designed and developed internal measures using Business Objects to hold support
associates accountable to key metrics for support. Implemented these measures on
current team and was recognized by leadership for results. Implementation of these
measures was then input into other teams, establishing a common measuring system that
ultimately enhanced the annual review process and made it more subjective.
