Withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU), often shortened to Brexit is a political aim of some political parties, advocacy groups, and individuals in the United Kingdom.
In 1975 a referendum was held on the country's membership of the European Economic Community (EEC), a precursor to the EU.
The outcome of the vote was that the country continued to be a member of the EEC.
More recently the European Union Referendum Act 2015 has been passed to allow for a referendum on the country's membership of the EU, with a vote to be held on 23 June 2016.
The United Kingdom (UK) intends to withdraw from the European Union (EU), a process commonly known as BREXIT, as a result of June 2016 referendum in which 52% voted to leave EU. The term “BREXIT” is the short form of the words “BRITISH” and “EXIT”.
I did a presentation about the problem in UK known as BREXIT in detail and about EUROPEAN UNION. It will be helpful if u want to know about BREXIT and EU a little. Thank you

The British have shocked the financial, political and business establishments of the world by voting to leave (52%) the European Union in the referendum of 23 June 2016.
Unconscious motivational values are largely missing from most discussions about what happened in the EU Referendum vote for ‘Brexit’ and the Trump election. Many people have asked me what ‘values’ may have played and this post is my view of the most probable values dynamic, based on the available evidence from CDSM and other sources. In ‘Part 2’ I’ll look at what it means now and next.

Hard Brexit
Means that the United Kingdom leaves the EU Single Market and trades under World Trade Organization rules
Under WTO rules, each member must grant the same market access—including charging the same tariffs—to all other members as the most favoured nation
Soft Brexit
Involves the option of staying in the Single Market (like Norway)
As a member of the European Economic Area (EEA), Norway has a free trade agreement with the European Union, which means that there are no tariffs on trade between the two

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.
Resume
• Real GDP growth slowed down due to problems with access to electricity caused by the destruction of manoeuvrable electricity generation by Russian drones and missiles.
• Exports and imports continued growing due to better logistics through the Ukrainian sea corridor and road. Polish farmers and drivers stopped blocking borders at the end of April.
• In April, both the Tax and Customs Services over-executed the revenue plan. Moreover, the NBU transferred twice the planned profit to the budget.
• The European side approved the Ukraine Plan, which the government adopted to determine indicators for the Ukraine Facility. That approval will allow Ukraine to receive a EUR 1.9 bn loan from the EU in May. At the same time, the EU provided Ukraine with a EUR 1.5 bn loan in April, as the government fulfilled five indicators under the Ukraine Plan.
• The USA has finally approved an aid package for Ukraine, which includes USD 7.8 bn of budget support; however, the conditions and timing of the assistance are still unknown.
• As in March, annual consumer inflation amounted to 3.2% yoy in April.
• At the April monetary policy meeting, the NBU again reduced the key policy rate from 14.5% to 13.5% per annum.
• Over the past four weeks, the hryvnia exchange rate has stabilized in the UAH 39-40 per USD range.

US Economic Outlook - Being Decided - M Capital Group August 2021.pdfpchutichetpong
The U.S. economy is continuing its impressive recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and not slowing down despite re-occurring bumps. The U.S. savings rate reached its highest ever recorded level at 34% in April 2020 and Americans seem ready to spend. The sectors that had been hurt the most by the pandemic specifically reduced consumer spending, like retail, leisure, hospitality, and travel, are now experiencing massive growth in revenue and job openings.
Could this growth lead to a “Roaring Twenties”? As quickly as the U.S. economy contracted, experiencing a 9.1% drop in economic output relative to the business cycle in Q2 2020, the largest in recorded history, it has rebounded beyond expectations. This surprising growth seems to be fueled by the U.S. government’s aggressive fiscal and monetary policies, and an increase in consumer spending as mobility restrictions are lifted. Unemployment rates between June 2020 and June 2021 decreased by 5.2%, while the demand for labor is increasing, coupled with increasing wages to incentivize Americans to rejoin the labor force. Schools and businesses are expected to fully reopen soon. In parallel, vaccination rates across the country and the world continue to rise, with full vaccination rates of 50% and 14.8% respectively.
However, it is not completely smooth sailing from here. According to M Capital Group, the main risks that threaten the continued growth of the U.S. economy are inflation, unsettled trade relations, and another wave of Covid-19 mutations that could shut down the world again. Have we learned from the past year of COVID-19 and adapted our economy accordingly?
“In order for the U.S. economy to continue growing, whether there is another wave or not, the U.S. needs to focus on diversifying supply chains, supporting business investment, and maintaining consumer spending,” says Grace Feeley, a research analyst at M Capital Group.
While the economic indicators are positive, the risks are coming closer to manifesting and threatening such growth. The new variants spreading throughout the world, Delta, Lambda, and Gamma, are vaccine-resistant and muddy the predictions made about the economy and health of the country. These variants bring back the feeling of uncertainty that has wreaked havoc not only on the stock market but the mindset of people around the world. MCG provides unique insight on how to mitigate these risks to possibly ensure a bright economic future.

2. MEANING
As the word Suggest BREXIT= “Britain” and “Exit”.
Withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
A REFERENDUM was held on 23th June, 2016 in which 17 million people
voted.
YES – 51.9%
NO – 48.1%
EUROPEAN UNION
The EU is a unique economic and political partnership between 28
European countries that together cover much of the continent.
3. WHY??
• The interference of European Union.
• They believe Britain is being held back by the EU, which they say
imposes too many rules on business and charges billions of pounds a
year in membership fees for little in return.
• They also want Britain to take back full control of its borders and
reduce the number of people coming here to live and/or work.
• The UK tax payers money goes directly into European Union, £ 14.5
billion a year.
• The European Union regulations cost UK businesses over £ 600
million every week
4.
5. IMPORTANCE OF BREXIT
• For a European country: A Brexit will change the world. Economically, half of the UK's
exports go to the EU while over half of its imports come from the rest of the Union. A Brexit will
mean all that will undergo a fresh negotiation. In external affairs, too, the UK has been a big
player in the EU. Its exit will mean the EU loses a heavyweight.
• For a NATO member country: The UK is a country which makes major military expenditure
after the US. Without it, the EU will be a less powerful entity.
• For the US: The US is a major partner of the UK---be it in terms of trade or military. The UK's
exit from the EU and the subsequent weakening of the EU will not be a great news for the US and
its scheme of things like war against terrorists and tyrants.
• For other countries: The UK is the fifth largest economy in the world and its exit from the EU
could leave the market uncertain. Some countries could face advantage in exporting goods to the
UK for the strict EU laws will not be applicable any more but what if the post-Brexit government
in the UK pursues strict immigration laws and import policies.
6. IMPACTS
• Economic Impacts : Impact of Brexit could lead into lower GDP of 2.2% in
2030 or hopefully lead into higher GDP of 1.6%.
• Impact on currency : The Sterling Pound is falling against all major
currencies. It was down by 2% against US Dollar and hit the lowest since
2009. It’s dropped 1.3% lower against the Euro.
• Impact on Trade : Trading freely with the EU allows UK businesses to
grow. Being able to trade freely with the EU helps UK businesses grow and
create jobs . Therefore, leaving EU might put all this at risk.
• Impact on Society : Being in European Union means lower prices for UK
families - because it's cheaper to trade and there’s more choice. If UK left
the EU, the cost of imports could rise by at least £11 billion leaving UK
families out of pocket as prices rise.
7. Impact of Brexit on India
• UK always has been access point for business for Indian companies,
being able to do business in UK also provide access to the European
companies. After Brexit this window will get close
• India exports to Britain at 17.66% of the total exports, which
includes textiles, clothing , machinery, Jewellery etc, this export rate
might decrease after Brexit.
• UK has always acted as a gate pass for Indian companies to access the
European companies. The total trade stood at $14.02 billion in FY16,
out of which $8.83 billion was in exports and $5.19 was in imports.
8. Would Britain be better in or out?
BRITAIN HAS 2 OPTIONS:
The UK will no longer have to accept “free movement
from people” from Europe if this country leaves EU single
market.
But EU has said that Britain will have to allow the free
movement of EU workers if it decides to stay in the single
market.
Article 50, the formal mechanism for Britain to leave the EU, will be
triggered by the end of March 2017, Theresa May the PM of UK has
stated.
