Brain fingerprinting uses MERMER signals (electrical brainwave responses) to determine if a person has information stored in their brain. Electrodes detect brainwaves in response to visual or audio stimuli. It has been used to identify criminals and can determine guilt or innocence with 100% accuracy, helping to reduce legal costs and avoid injustices. While promising, more research is needed due to small sample sizes in previous studies.
