This document outlines the design of a low-cost reconfigurable modular robot system. The system is intended to be used as a teaching tool for robotics courses. Key aspects of the design include controller boards for each modular unit that communicate wirelessly and allow various movement configurations. The design underwent testing to evaluate movement accuracy, battery lifespan, weight, and wireless range. While modifications were made to the initial design, the final prototype met requirements for a functional modular robotics platform.
