Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows electronic devices such as phones, laptops, and printers to connect and exchange information over short distances without wires. It was invented in 1994 and developed by telecom companies in 1998 to replace cables using radio waves. Bluetooth devices can share data, synchronize information, make hands-free calls, and connect to wireless speakers or headphones within about 30 feet of each other.
