This document describes the design of an ultrasonic navigation system to assist blind people. The system uses a microcontroller and various sensors including ultrasonic, IR, water, fire, and light sensors. The ultrasonic sensor detects obstacles and alerts the user with vibrations. Other sensors detect hazards like pits, stairs, water, and fire. The microcontroller interfaces with the sensors and activates output devices like a buzzer or vibrator when hazards are detected. The system is intended to make navigation safer and more secure for blind users by providing alerts through dual feedback mechanisms. Future improvements could include using GPS and voice guidance to provide global positioning information.
