Recrystallization is a technique frequently used in organic chemistry to purify solid
organic compounds. The goal of this technique is to allow organic compounds to
form crystal lattice structures, and to remove any of the impurities that do not align
within this crystal structure.1 The theory behind recrystallization revolves around
entropy; as heat will cause a organic compound to dissolve (increase in entropy), a
decrease in heat will then allow that organic compound to reform (decrease in
entropy) and become purer.2
The recrystallization technique utilizes the ability of a compound to dissolve within a
hot solvent and produce a solution. As this solution cools, the solute reforms without
impurities in a crystal lattice structure.1 For this to work properly, an appropriate
solution that will not dissolve the solute at low temperatures, but will at high
temperatures, must be used.1 There is no single solvent that will work well for every
solute s recrystallization; different solvents are better suited for some solutes than
others.2 Some impurities that do not dissolve within the solvent can be filtered out

Another of Ghibli s films, Princess Mononoke (1997), made emphatic this
archetype. Mononoke is a movie about the warrior princess San, who lives
amongst wolf gods and attacks the human villages that threaten her forest home; it

Sumo Style Deadlift
The sumo style deadlift is easier to learn than the conventional style and although
the concept is the same, the exercise works different body parts. In this lift style,
the lifter grabs the grip bar with arms placed on the inside of legs and maintains a
wider stance than the conventional lift. A sumo style lift may not be the best way
to pick up the most weight, but it is an easier position to learn the basics of
deadlifting (Roberts). Sumo style lifters need groin flexibility because in this stance,
the hips are closer to the bar and many push their knees out to get to the bar, rather
than pushing the hips back. The sumo stance also requires lifters to be much more
upright, this adds an extra layer of muscle engagement. In addition to the muscles
worked out by a conventional deadlift, which include the hamstrings, quads, and
gluts, the sumo style lift also adds muscle engagement in the lower back and some
adductors (Roberts). Each stance comes with its problems and benefits for
different body types. In the sumo stance, there is a lower starting hip position. The
sumo position allows for a more rounded back to get the bar off the floor, but
lifters often struggle at lockout in this position. Also, the sumo deadlift has a
smaller back angle compared to the conventional deadlift, which allows for more
weight to be lifted with a lesser degree of lower back strength. In the sumo lift, the
barbell travel is minimized because there is a shorter stroke. This

attainment, financial security and perceptions of social class (Shavers, 2007;
Nicklett, 2011). Numerous studies have suggested that a strong relationship between
ethnicity and socioeconomic status exists in America. SES pervades many human
functioning to include physical and mental health (Nicklett, 2011; Williams,
Mohammed, Leavell, and Collins, 2010). Studies have suggested that ethnicity is
related to illness, impairment and death rates (Williams, Mohammed, Leavell, and
Collins, 2010). Communities in American are often segregated by SES, race, and
ethnicity. Minority communities commonly share characteristics of low economic
development, poor health conditions and low levels of educational attainment. Low
SES has consistently been implicated as a risk factor for many of these problems that
plague communities. Research indicates that there are large health disparities based
on social status that are pervasive and persistent (McGuire, and Miranda, 2008;

Historical Analysis
Christopher Marlowe born in Canterbury, England his exact birth date is not
known which why it is based when he received his baptism in 1564. Marlowe was
a poet and playwright who was very prominent in the dramatic renaissance in the
16th century. Marlowe was a University graduate with a bachelor s of arts. He tried
to obtain his Masters, but the University gave him a hard time in doing so. His first
plays were performed in the late 1580 s and were quite successful in Elizabethan
Theatre. Near the end of his life, Marlow got in trouble with the law when he was
accused of a crime; the crime being atheism and blasphemy. He was later killed
during a fight in 1593 by Ingram Frizer when he stabbed him in the forehead.
Marlowe was a very young playwright for his time. Because he died at age 29, his
literary career lasted less than six years. Dr. Faustus was his most popular written
work which ensured his legacy for centuries to come. His influences and inspirations
for the tragedy of Faustus were based on older German legends. The origin of
Faustus came from a Latin term which meant fortunate or lucky. It was also
rumored that Faustus was the brother in law to the devil. The play was written in
blank verse and pros, which became popular by Marlow himself. Marlow s work is
