DRUG CHART:

10. DRUG INTERACTION
• Telmisartan + Digoxin
Telmisartan and Digoxin both increases
serum potassium.
Telmisartan increases level of Digoxin.
• Aspirin + Telmisartan
Aspirin decreases the effects of Telmisartan.
Telmisartan and aspirin increases serum
potassium.

11. PATIENT COUNSELLING
• Smoking cessation.
• Monitor salt intake.
• Avoid alcohol consumption.
• Reduce weight.
• Continuous positive airway pressure to
improve daily functional capacity.
