BISHOP HEBER COLLEGE TRICHY
Mr Clifford Paul’s initiatives included the following
1. Students were encouraged to use the library
2. Students were encouraged to use the internet centre at the
college
3. Weekly Departmental meetings of all the students of all batches
on Fridays with exclusive opportunity to students to showcase their
managerial abilities
4. Introduction of an Executive uniform instilling an air of confidence
and discipline.
5. Lectures invited students to think imaginatively and conceptually
about a significant theme or problem. They did more than “cover
the material.”
6. His lectures offered a point of view and an entry into the field of
study.
7. Equitable distribution and exposure of talent to all students were
offered.
8. Lectures increased confidence, style, and enhanced effectiveness
greatly facilitating the following to
 Craft an introduction that set a clear agenda.
 Create an outline of points, examples, or demonstration.
 Prepare and practice a short conclusion that will tie the strands
of the lecture together and place the lecture in the wider context of
the course.
 Emphasize objectives and key points in the beginning.
9. Lectures were interactive with real life case studies in order to
enable probity and enhance acumen of the student community with
student interventions being deftly handled without any stutter or
hesitation thereby increasing the confidence of the students
manifold.
10. Handouts were given frequently in order to enable students to
fully grasp the subject.
