of india.
•It as designed to improve
the nutritional standing of
school children.

•It is run by the ministry of Labour.
• This program supplies free lunch on
working days for children in government,
government aided and local body schools.

by the CM, Mr.M.G.
Ramachandran in 1982
under the name ‘chief
minister‘s Nutritious
meal scheme’.

text book, uniform,
stationary, a pair of
footwear are
provided.
7. Tithi Bhojan:
•Introduced by PM Mr.
Narendra Modi.
•It was first introduced in
Gujarat and now extended
all over India.
8. Members of a community,
•Can sponsor a day’s meal.
•Provide donations to purchase utensils.
•Can gift sweets, snacks, fruits etc.
•Public can donate cash.
