This document outlines the need for behavior policy training at a school. It discusses establishing consistent principles for treating children fairly, with understanding and kindness. Teachers must know their students well and address issues immediately to prevent misbehavior. An acceptable punishments list will be created from staff input to promote consistency and avoid disciplinary actions. The next training will focus on classroom strategies to encourage positive behavioral development in students.
What is Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL)? And why is it SO valuable for ...Louise Wigan
This is a slideshow about the NSW Framework for developing positive behaviour for learning amongst students. Originally developed in NSW and largely implemented in rural and western NSW schools, I am a firm believer that implementing the same processes and values in South Australian schools will have the same benefit to student learning and wellbeing.
This slideshow is part of a bigger presentation where terms and sentences are expanded on orally, in order to make sense to the audience.

I MAKE THE DIFFERENCE : Encouraging Positive Behaviourshareenratnani
Gaps Exist-They always have and always will. However creating an environment to promote positive behaviour enriches the learning process, catalyses closing gaps between teachers and students and creates an understanding of learning patterns.
Differentiated instruction provides students with different avenues to acquire content; Encouraging positive behaviour creates an acceptance and understanding that all students within a classroom can learn with a positive disposition, regardless of differences in ability.
I held various headships and advisory, consultancy posts in the primary and secondary education systems.
I use this PowerPoint in my whole school training across the UK. In coaching middle managers and leadership teams in establishing positive behaviour in their school.

The Book Project - covers done by my studentsJoei Villarama
This is a collection of book covers my students did for their English Writing Class. The final exam is a book project which is a compilation of articles that they wrote on various topics which I assigned.
These are pictures taken of exam presentations for Spoken English class. My students were free to choose anything they wanted to present and how they wanted to present it.

Legal Open Document and Data is an increasing phenomena that can produce benefits for the citizens, for the companies for the society in term of transparency, sharing knowledge, accessibility of the decisions. However the judgments, decisions, case-law include personal and sensitive data that can affect the life of the people. This presentation want to present some thought about how to manage the legal information in a correct balancing between right to access and privacy issues (e.g., right to be forgotten) and to suggest some technical solutions from the Semantic Web (e.g., ECLI and Akoma Ntoso, anonymization editor).
Discipline is not a punishment as most of us think. Through effective discipline children can get to learn how to cooperate with others and how to manage their own behavior.
I had to make a Newsletter for Actively Listening to your child to Parents that would have children in my classroom. Tell me what you think! How'd I do? Did I catch your attention & keep you interested?
2. Why ?
• Why do we need to have training on
behaviour policy?
• To make sure that our children grow up with
the characteristics and qualities we desire.
3. • To ensure this:
• We must make sure we follow the same
principles and that we apply the same ideas
and beliefs.
• We must also have a clear idea or what is right
and what is wrong.
• We must understand what our duty is.
4. There have been three times in the
last two weeks when both Wendy and
I have had concerns over the way our
teachers have behaved towards
children.
5. How should we treat children?
We must be fair
We must be consistent
We must show tolerance
We must show understandingWe must know our students well
We must show kindness
We must be thoughtful
We must deal with issues immediately
We must try to prevent bad behaviour
We must be honest
We must be patient
We must be a good role model
We must be good listeners
We must treat each individual according to their needs
We must forgive
We must be calm We must speak with a gentle voice
6. Class behaviour management.
• Essential agreements
• Knowing our pupils
• Helping them understand
• Age appropriate
• Planning to avoid poor behaviour
• Recording punishments
• Working as a consistent staff team
• Working with parents
7. Please make a list of:
• Acceptable punishments
• Unacceptable punishments
8. • Wendy and I will look at your lists – we will use
them to make a list of acceptable punishments.
• If staff use punishments that are not on the list
then they may be subject to disciplinary action.
• If staff see others using punishments not on the
list it is their duty to report it. If they do not, they
may also be subject to disciplinary action.
9. Behaviour policy Training 2
• Our next training will look at strategies we can
will put in the classrooms to encourage our
children to develop the behavioural
characteristics we want.
