Health is a combination of physical,
mental/emotional, and social well-being. Your
physical health, mental/emotional health, and social
health all relate and make up your total health.
4. What is Physical Education?
PE is a curricular area that teachers about physical
activity. It teaches students skills to participate in
lifetime activities such as individual and/or team
sports. It is specific, structured, and progressive in the
areas taught.
5. Expectations/Rules
Health
Be respectful: Listen to your teacher. Listen to your
classmates. Wait your turn to talk.
Be responsible: Come to class on time. Have your
binder and pencil out and ready to learn.
Be honest: If you don’t understand something ask for
help.
Be polite: Try to express your opinion in a nice way
even if you disagree.
