• It is a severe condition in which asthma attacks follow one
another without pause.
• It is a medical emergency.
• Patient has severe
shortness of breath
• Excessive sweating and
muscle fatigue

• Take asthma meds as per doctor’s advice
• Avoid your triggers i.e.
–dust,
–pollen,
–chemicals
• Use your peak flow meter
