During a visit to an Axis Bank branch, the following was observed: 1) The bank had 12 counters, with some dedicated to cash, general banking, demat accounts, and privilege banking. Security measures like guards and CCTV cameras were present. 2) Accounts can be opened with a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000. Several types of savings accounts are offered to customers. 3) Customer service was observed to be polite and coordinated. The bank uses technological advancements like ATMs, cash deposit machines, and online banking platforms.

7.  As we entered the bank the receptionist asked us
about our query.
 As we informed her about our project. She gave us
the permission for the visit.
 There was one waiting room at the corner.
 The desk of the officer was in ‘L’ shape.

 On the 1st floor there
was gold department.

10.  The 4th and 5th window was for opening new
current and saving account.
 Minimum balance required is 10000 rs.
 Rate of interest charged is 7.24%.
 As we approached the officer for the opening of
the saving account. He told us there are many
types of savings account which are as follows:-

c) Young star account
d) 3-in-1 account

11.  While observing we
saw 2 customers
having complain
about the bank
service.
 One was having
problem related to
utility bills.
 And another
customer came for
closing the account.

12.  The customer who came for the closing the
account was having problem related to rate of
interest
 Which was higher than compared to HDFC
bank.
 The manager told that the rate of interest
varies from bank to bank.
 If rate of interest on savings account is higher
then rate of interest on loan would be low.

proper formal uniform.
 There was one branch
manager office
 And one rest room facility
where we observed that
employees was having
their lunch but still the
discipline was maintained.

customers.
 There was one separate desk for
the customer who wants the
ATM cards. Forms were
available there.
 For the customer who came for
the opening for the new account
they were provided with kit. In
which there is ATM card, net
banking password, cheque
book, passbook and slip book

18. Lastly we asked one manager about the
job vacancy
She told us to upload it on bank’s website
as recruitment is done from the
headquarter which is in mumbai.
Lastly she also added that 4 to 5 students
from IFBI got selected.

19. 1. During Our Axis visit, We had very good experience
in the Bank. The Working staff was very polite and
coordinating.

Assets holding.
3. In term of Technologic advancement Axis bank stand
India's first bank who inducted ATM machine in
India.
