This document provides instructions for creating an animated AVI or GIF file from a series of images using the free ImageJ program. The key steps are to import the desired number of images into ImageJ from a folder, check that the correct number of images are imported, adjust compression and frame rate settings as needed, and then the AVI or GIF file will be created from the series of images.

2. Choose how many pictures you need
for the movie e.g. 10 so change this
number to 10. BTW the highlighted
no. shows how many images you have
in the chosen folder

You can slide this bar to see all the

3. You can leave it as it is or if youhave
more images then use drop down
compression to select Jpeg and then
Jpeg quality to 50% you can play with
frame rate
You are done! Similar step can be used to make animated GIF file.
