2. Grammar a. The present perfect tense a. Uses - The present perfect expresses a past action with results in the present. It is often a recent past action. Ex: - He  has gone  out (He isn’t here) - I  have lost  my wallet (I don’t have it now) - Express an experience as part of someone’s life Ex: -  I’ ve traveled   a lot in Asia
- Express an action or state which began in the past and continue to the present Ex: - She’ s   live   here  for 6 months - Express an action happened and finished in the past (no adverbs of time) Ex: - I’ ve visited  China
b. Adverbs of time Since + point of time (since 1995/ 7 o’clock/ last Monday) For + period of time (for a week/ 2 years/ half an hour) Just, Already, Yet, ever, never
c. Forms (+) Ex: - I have just read the novel   - Someone has taken my wallet   - He’s written 20 songs   - I’ve known Linda for 5 years S + have/ has + V-pp2 + O
