This document outlines a project to develop an automated hand sanitizer device and non-contact temperature detection system for supermarket entrances. The system aims to provide touchless sanitization and temperature checks while monitoring sanitizer levels and quality. It will be developed over 3 months using components like a liquid pump, proximity sensor, and temperature sensor. The device will be tested for accuracy of temperature readings, sanitization timing, liquid level detection, and ignition detection before finalizing. The system is intended to improve hygiene and health protections while reducing employee workload during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These slides use concepts from my (Jeff Funk) course entitled analyzing hi-tech opportunities to analyze how wireless healthcare are becoming economic feasible. Improvements in microprocessor and transceiver ICs, MEMS, photo-sensors, and other electronic components are making wireless healthcare economically feasible. These slides show how improvements in these components are making capsule endoscopy, smart drug delivery, and digital pills economically feasible. Capsule endoscopy involves sending a small device through the body, particularly the digestive system, to take images. Further improvements in electronic components are needed to further reduce the size of these devices. Drugs can be dispensed through smart pills at programmed times or can be triggered by sensors that detect the correct location. Digital pills send signals to mobile phones or other devices when the pills have been taken. The slides conclude by discussing the role of mobile phones in increasing the number of wireless healthcare applications.

Low Cost Design of Water Quality Monitoring Systemijtsrd
According to the annual rankings of world economic forum, the issue related with quality of water has increased gradually. As per the records, millions of people especially small children die due to the bad quality of water. One of the main reasons is the unavailability of cheap water quality monitoring system available at such locations. Thus, to ensure the safety of people considering water quality, a low cost design for monitoring water quality has been proposed in this paper. The system uses microcontroller, display LCD, etc. whereas the various parameters considered includes pH, turbidity, TDS and temperature of sample water. 5. 1.1 PROBLEM
SPECIFICATIONS
The government has imposed regulations on the hygiene of consumers as well
as employees in supermarkets.
It is mandatory for customers to wash their hands and check the temperature
before entering the supermarket.
Those 2 functions are done by manually.
Major drawbacks in current system :
1.Wastage of the sanitizer liquid
2.People always touched the dispenser
3.Damage of the device.
4.Employees exposure to the virus.
6. The proposed device has the following functions.
Automatic release of sanitary gel.
Automatic measuring of body temperature.
The proposed device has following security measures.
Automatic measuring sanitary gel level.
Automatic measuring sanitary gel quality/activeness.
Inform the relevant authorities via SMS after the required ranges of the above
components have been changed.

7. 1.3 OBJECTIVES
Integrate automated sanitizer container and human body temperature
detection system for supermarkets within 3 months that provides;
Touchless sanitizer spraying to maintain good hygiene.
Measure temperature and sanitizer level of the sanitizer container to
provide protection and reliability for the sanitizer container.
Measure and display customers and employees body temperature to
provide better health protection from COVID19 pandemic.
9. According WHO providing hand sanitization is important in companies like
supermarkets[2]
By providing the automated solution for it will help to provide comfortable
mechanism for hand sanitization[4]
Automated hand sanitizer device can be developed without an
microcontroller like ATMEGA328P[1]
To integrate it with non-contact human body temperature detection should be
used an microcontroller
This non-contact temperature sensor accuracy depend on the distance[5]
To improve it proximity sensor should be used
Ultra sonic sensor is the best solution for liquid level detection in non-
contacted manner[3]

13. 3.2 HOW? How to prevent the sanitizer liquid ignitions?
Two situation that there is ignition may occur in a sanitizer liquid
container;
Sanitizer liquid temperature is higher than its’ flash point.
Fire ignitions or electrical sparks near by the sanitizer container
Using liquid temperature sensor and flame sensors these situation can
be detected.
How the activation energy of sanitizer liquid affect to the ignition of the
liquid?
If the temperature of the sanitizer liquid is higher than the evaporation
temperature of the sanitizer liquid, liquid activation energy decreases

Following performance metrics will be considered when implementing
the proposed solution;
Accuracy of the non-contacted body temperature sensor
Time duration for dispensing hand sanitizer liquid
Accuracy of the liquid level detection
Accuracy of the ignition detection

Testing the Flame sensor and temperature sensor
• Placing ignition on certain distance
• sanitizer liquid temperature sensing function checking

Testing the Touch less Sanitizer liquid spraying sensor
• To test whether the touch less sanitizer liquid spray function is working
properly, a Datasheet used by volunteers
Testing the Body temperature Sensing
• measure the body temperature of the person by the medical glass
thermometer and compare with the temperature that measured the by device
to check the accuracy of the body temperature sensing function
Testing the Liquid Level Sensor
• A transparent container is used
• The level of sanitary liquid in the container and the level that indicated by
the level sensor are monitored and relationship between them is concluded
• Observe whether the signal is received when the level of the sanitary liquid
drops
25. 5.2: EVALUATION
The device allows customers to quickly and easily complete their hygiene
precautions
The safety and reliability of the device are maximized by the ability to notify
a decrease in the quality of the sanitary liquid and explosion through the
notification system installed on the device
Corporate employee exposure to the virus can be completely prevented .
After make sure that system is working properly by testing step the system
will finalize and the research will be success.
27. People are trying to keep hygiene of their hand by washing them before
entering premises like super markets due to the COVID-19 pandemic
situation.
Automating manual system that used to dispense hand sanitizer liquid and
detect body temperature is good solution for tedious task which is provided
by the employees of the company
Non-contact functionalities provide by this device will give an exceptional
contribution to prevent the dispersion of COVID-19 virus.
To improve the reliability of the device, has a mechanism to detect low
liquid level of the sanitizer container and inform it to relevant authorities.
Measuring the sanitizer liquid temperature and detect an ignition when
occur and sent notification to improve the protection and quality of the
sanitizer liquid contain inside the container
This system will help to save lot of manpower in a company like
supermarkets that will lead to increase the profit and efficiency.
