Introduction
Cleanliness plays a vital role in maintaining
proper health of person in the day to day life.
It is important to concentrate on the
cleanliness of the washrooms since it is the
most common place to find harmful bacteria.
This product gives an interactive solution to
deal with the cleanliness of the washrooms by
using multistage identification algorithms
and alerting cycles to ensure the cleanliness
of the washroom.

Expansion
Head count: This criteria uses the number of users who used the
washroom as main information and further uses the algorithm
by which it decides whether the washroom is to be cleaned or
not.To make this possible multiple photo sensors are employed
and are monitored by the microcontroller selected.
Odor Identification: The main duty of this criteria is to identify
the amount of odor causing gases in the air of washroom and
then determines if the washroom is clean or not.The apparatus
required for this process are smell sensors.
Time criteria: The product is set to schedule a cleaning cycle
after a particular amount of time even if the first and the second
criteria is not satisfied.

Highlights
There are three stages of alerting:
• Buzzer notification: we use a buzzer ring to alert the
cleaning squad by variating the tone of each
washroom alert.
• Application Notifications:The notifications will be
pushed to the smartphone of the cleaner by using the
app that we developed. Multiple types of
functionalities are included in the application
developed.
• SMS notifications:The notification is sent to the
cleaner in the form of an SMS which makes the
accessibility of the product even higher. Not all the
cleaners have the knowledge to operate the
smartphone, so the SMS method is the most efficient
way of alerting the squad.
