1. Autobiography Essay Format
Crafting an essay on the "Autobiography Essay Format" can be both challenging and
introspective. The difficulty lies in the delicate balance between providing a structured narrative
of one's life while adhering to the conventions of essay writing. It demands a unique blend of
personal reflection, chronological storytelling, and an understanding of how to weave these
elements into a cohesive piece.
Firstly, delving into one's own life requires a level of self-awareness that may be uncomfortable
or challenging. Navigating through memories, experiences, and emotions to select the most
pertinent and engaging aspects demands careful consideration. Additionally, finding the right
tone—neither too boastful nor overly modest—adds another layer of complexity.
Structuring the autobiography essay poses its own set of challenges. Deciding on a chronological
or thematic approach requires a thoughtful choice that aligns with the overall narrative. Balancing
the personal with the universal is essential to ensure that readers can connect with the story while
appreciating its broader significance.
The writer must also grapple with the ethical considerations of revealing personal details.
Striking a balance between openness and privacy is crucial, as the essay should offer insight
without becoming too intrusive or uncomfortable for the reader.
Moreover, adhering to the conventions of essay writing—introduction, body, and
conclusion—while maintaining a natural and engaging storytelling style is no easy feat.
Transitioning seamlessly between different phases of life, from childhood to present, requires
finesse to keep the reader captivated throughout the journey.
In conclusion, crafting an autobiography essay is a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. It
demands introspection, careful consideration of structure, and a delicate balance between
personal revelation and broader relevance. It is an opportunity for self-discovery and expression,
but navigating the complexities of storytelling and essay conventions requires skill and
dedication.
For those seeking assistance in this endeavor, similar essays and a variety of writing services can

and guidance for individuals undertaking the challenging task of composing their autobiography

wastes the time of courts and attorneys. From the point that the person is sentenced
to death row, the convicted may need to wait about 12 years until execution.
Furthermore, the actual execution has many complications as well. A hanging may
seem simple, but a miscalculation of the drop may lead to the person suffering a
slow suffocation or the head being torn off the body. Another method, electrocution,
is also not reliable. In one case, John Evans was electrocuted three times before he
died, with his flesh burning and flames consuming his leg. Some may argue that this
is the reason gas chambers were created. However, the chambers also cause slow and
painful death as shown by Don Harding s execution which took ten minutes. Today s

Two important cases that both have looked at the death penalty in various ways, may
show that capital punishment is not applicable today. In the case Atkins v. Virginia,
which took place in 2002, Daryl Renard Atkins was mentally retarded. Atkins was
sentenced to death, but he appealed to the Supreme Court. This case takes a look at
the question of whether executing a mentally retarded person is constitutional. The
court ruled 6 3 that it is not constitutional to kill a mentally retarded person because
the nation s standards are changing and many are against such sentences ( Atkins ).
It is clear that the death penalty is being applied less and less, which make it seem
that it is no longer applicable today. This opinion is also backed up by the later case,
Roper v. Simmons. The case was decided in 2004, but the events date back to 1993.
Christopher Simmons was sentenced to death in 1993, but he was only 17. The
lower courts ruled for Simmons, stating that the national opinion on killing a minor
has changed. However, not many believed the lower court had the power to overrule
the Supreme Court s previous decision on Stanford v. Kentucky. The case went up to
the Supreme Court where the court ruled in a 5 4 ruling for Simmons. The Court
stated that the standards have changed in the past years, making it so that executing
minors is no longer Constitutional ( Roper ). As shown by these cases, the national
consensus on the death penalty is changing, which is no longer as necessary as it
once may have

2.1 Introduction to Phishing Phishing is defined as the attempt to obtain personal
information such as usernames and passwords, credit card numbers, PINS, and other
sensitive information. In this case, the creator will send out a legitimate looking
email in disguise as any big and trustworthy company. The words phishingitself
sounds like fishing because of their similar concepts that is used. A bait is used in the
attempt to catch a victim like for fishing, fisherman will use worm as their bait to
attract fishes to their fishing rod or net. As in the hacking term, the bait is referred to
any activity that will gain people s trust so that they want to attach to the bait. And

they will somehow notice the not so obvious
8. Myths Of The Knife
The knife is one of the oldest tools used by humanity so it should come as no
surprise that there are almost as many myths about knives as there are types of
knives. These myths are not just some old folk tales told around a camp fire but
myths that are actually thought to be true in the present day time. There are myths
about how to care for knives and myths about how to use them. They all have
something that sticks in the mind or they would not have lasted long enough to
become myths. Any buyer looking to purchase knives should know why these myths
are false so that you can make wise buying decisions when purchasing your very own
knife.

When you get injured by a knife, it means you got cut buy it in some form or another.
Thinking like this would mean that knife that does not cut well is less likely to injure
the user. The problem with this thinking is that dull knives require more force to
actually complete the cutting action, which in turn makes the user more likely to lose
control and accidentally injure themselves because the knife went somewhere it
should not have gone.
Myth 3: Harder Blades Stay Sharp Longer
While hardness definitely is a factor in how sharp an edge a blade can hold, there
is thing as a blade being too hard. The problem is that blades that are only hard also
are brittle and hence prone to breaking. Brittle blades can easily chip, losing their
original edge and so become jagged and dull. If your blade will last long then it
needs to be resilient. Hardness alone is not enough.
Myth 4: Giving a Knife as a Gift Severs Relationships
This is one of the oldest and dumbest knife myths that are still around. The idea
behind this thinking is that because a knife is a cutting implement, giving one to
someone means that the giver is cutting the ties that bind people (them) together.
Needless to say, there is no grain of truth to this myth; It is a perfect example of the
kind of magical thinking that symbols can have a direct effect in the real

Biodiversity is also known as the biological diversity. Biodiversity refers to all kinds

of animals, plants, and living things in relationship to their environment, which can

microorganism which includes bacteria, archaea, fungi, and protists. The study of
microorganism is important because they play a large role in thce environment.

World War II is one of the most historical wars in world history. There were many
battles and many horrible acts committed. The Battle of Normandy, A.K.A D Day,
and Attack on Pearl Harbor were two of the many battles turning points.
The Invasion of Normandy took place on Saturday, June 6th,1944 in Western Europe.
Dwight D. Eisenhower and Adolf Hitler were leaders of this war. Eisenhower was a
Commanding General and Hitler was the leader of Germany. Eisenhower launched an
attack along French Coast. German leaders couldn t believe Allies attacked
Normandy. Allied soldiers parachuted behind German line and dropped bombs. The
next morning ships approached beaches with men and supplies. They built forces in
France and had 90,000 vehicles and 10,000 men with them. Hitler was furious and
ordered his troops to join the fight. In August, Allied troops tried to move into the
Netherland but the Germans were successful in stopping them. Allied troops won
Eindhoven and Nijmegen but the Germans won British Red Devil troops at
Arnhem.Although the Germans had that successful feat, Allied forces reigned almost
all of France.

11. Kurt Lewin ( 1947 ) Divides The Change Process
SECTION ONE
Answer 1.
Kurt Lewin (1947) divides the change process into 3 steps. Unfreezing, Changing
and Freezing. It is a very simple and practical model for understanding the change
process. It is widely used and is a basis for many change models. He widely stages
them as follows:
a)Creating the perception that change is needed.
b)Moving towards the new desired level of behaviour.
c)Solidifying the new behaviour as the norm.
UNFREEZING
Unfreezing raises an initial awareness of the need for change. It is the first step in
the change process. As many people will resist change the goal during unfreezing is
to create awareness as to how the current level is hindering the organization in some
way. Old behaviour, ways of thinking, procedures and process followed, Human
resource, Organisation structure must be carefully examined to clarify the people in
the organization the need for change to maintain competitive advantage. The
Proprietor needs to convince his people the logic behind change and how it will be
beneficial at Individual and Organisational level. Besides Lewin states that people
should be motivated to accept change
As an owner of Pink Donkey catering Ltd who wants to open his own restaurant and
bring major change in the way business is done, I would emphasise on Unfreezing as
a first step in change management process. I would convince them the urgency and
necessity for change, as catering business we were able to reach limited customers

12. Absolute Power In Animal Farm By George Orwell
Many people have been in situations when they are in a group and a dilemma
comes up. When they come up with a solution, things can go so smoothly at first
but over time someone in that group overpowers the lower class. This is an
example of absolute power and is a very corrupt way of ruling. Power corrupts but
absolute powercorrupts absolutely because they will always take rules and twist
them around just to fit their satisfaction, the person in power always hurts the
lower class just to stay in power, and they stop making good decisions for their
people. When someone owns absolute power they twist the rules just to fit their
satisfaction. An example of this is in the book Animal Farm by George Orwell.
After the animals get rid of Mr. Jones Snowball takes control with several other
pigs as his apprentice. Things go very smoothly and enjoyable for the first days but
soon Napoleon is filled with greed and chases Snowball out of the animal farm.
Napoleon then takes over the farm. As society lives their lives, the leader very
slowly twists and edits the rules of the farm and some of the animals don t even
notice. The pigs insist that since they are more intelligent and work longer that all the

Napoleon took the puppies and raised them up to learn his commandments and to
be his protection. Joseph Stalin killed the children s parents and was able to make
the children believe anything he said and this made him invincible and all powerful.
If the animals were to question or bring up anything he didn t like, by the call of his
command the dogs would chase down the animal to be killed. The thing is though,
he was breaking another commandment: No animal should kill another but with a
reason. Some of the animals saw this and soon realized what was happening, a
dictator was ruling them and the very thing that they feared was repeating and
Napoleon was just like Mr.
13. The Role Of Women In Beowulf
From the earliest periods of man, society never truly learns from the mistakes of
the past. The desire for fame and glory is sometimes overshadowed by the allure of
women, and the clouds of ego that flood man s mind. This is the story of Beowulf,
the man who battled horrid beasts all whilst tackling the challenge of leading his
people and personal demons. While the story of Beowulfhas been told for centuries,
his glorious deeds seemed to have changed throughout the years. The impact of this
story is relevant to this day as his story is still told and still ever changing. Movies
have been released in order to depict his story, and the contrast is significant to that of
the original printing of Beowulf. This shows throughout the Beowulf movie... Show

The battle between good versus evil, or the darkness versus the light. Throughout
both stories it is clear which characters are either good or evil; however, in the
movie many of the characters throughout Beowulf have a different representation
when compared to the poem. These ideas are shown throughout the poem the
movie, as the plots and storylines developed it is clear who are protagonists and
antagonists are. The battle between good versus evil has set teams. However, from
the reading it is clear these characters are morally ambiguous. If even the hero
Beowulf has flaws, certainly the rest of the characters do as well. For example, in
the parts of the poem, like lines 142 151, Beowulf describes Hrothgar s amazing
nature and ability to be a wise king and renowned leader, but in the movie the
representation of Hrothgar is extremely flawed when compared to Hrothgar of the
poem. Throughout the movie Hrothgar is depicted as a drunkard and an unwise
king, not only that, but one of the many themes of Beowulf is also shown and that is
history repeating itself. In a shocking turn of events Hrothgar ends up being Grendel
s father, a further testament to his ambiguous behaviors; however, when he tasks
Beowulf with slaying Grendel s mother, Beowulf repeats his wrongdoings. This a
stark contrast in comparison to the poem versions of these characters, and in a sense
represents the society of today where morally ambiguous

romance comedy film in which a reporter falls in love with a runaway European

audience with its funny plots and expressive dialogues. However, most of the critics
attribute its success to the plot arrangement and actors performance. As far as the

16. The Empire Of The Seljuk Ottoman Empire
One of the small Turkish nomadic tribes in Anatolia during the 13th century was a
dynasty named after the ruler Osman, the Ottomans. This small state emerged in
Anatolia during the breakdown of the empire of the Seljuk Turks. The Ottomans
quickly became an undeniable force and ended all other Turkish dynasties. The
Ottoman Empirebecame one of the largest and longest lasting empires in the world,
ruling the majority of the Middle East, northern Africa and southeastern Europe for
over 600 years until its eventual fall in 1922.
The Ottomans were one of the numbers of Turkish tribes that migrated from Central
Asia. Initially they followed a primitive shamanistic religion. Their contacts with
various tribes led to the introduction of Islam and they acquired their greatest combat
tradition, that of the ghazi warrior. The first period of the Ottoman history was
characterized by almost continuous territorial expansion. The Ottoman dominion
spread out from a small Anatolian principality to cover a major amount of land in
Middle East and southeastern Europe.
Following the final defeat of the Seljuk Empire in 1293, Osman, the founder of the
Ottoman dynasty, led his principality to take over Byzantine Bithynia in northwestern
Anatolia, commanded the ghazis against the Byzantines. Osman and his successors
concentrated their attacks on Byzantine territories bordering the Bosphorus and the
Sea of Marmara to the west. The Ottomans took advantage of the decay of the

While gender discrimination happens to both men and women in individual
situations, discrimination against women is an entrenched, global pandemic. The
world today is characterised by rapid transformations in all spheres of life that is
globalization. By this time of globalization, struggle for gender equality is a matter
of concern also. For example, major progress has been made in closing the gender
gap in school enrolments at both primary and secondary levels. The rapid growth of
the garment industry has provided a large number of ceremonial sector jobs for all
genders. Moreover, the society belongs to us is highly patriarchal and gender
discrimination is common at all levels of community. Women are reliant on men
throughout the whole time of their lives. The range starts from father to husbands to
sons. The constitutional affirmations of gender equality are also present in our
country. However, the state legislation always overlooks the rights of women. From
time to time, women, young girls and female children are more underprivileged than
male in their access to education, employment, health care services etc. Traditionally,
women are recognised only for reproductive purposes and are encouraged to do only

The author who wrote Of Mice and Men in 1937, John Steinbeck, accurately uses
foreshadowing throughout the story between the characters, their actions, and their
thoughts. Foreshadowing is giving an indication or warning of what will happen
next or in the future. Examples of John Steinbeck s foreshadowing used in his story
are creating and allusion to the poem, To a Mouse, and giving one of the main
characters, Lennie, an obsession with soft things. Steinbeck also uses foreshadowing
throughout the story by giving Lennie and other characters the American dream, and
by creating a parallel between Candy s dog and Lennie s death
Steinbeck uses foreshadowing in his book by creating an allusion to the poem To a
Mouse , written by Robert Burns. To a Mouse is a poem about a mouse who lives
peacefully in his house and plans to continue down that path. The mouse s plans go
askew when he loses everything he has like George and Lennie whose plans go
askew during the Great Depression, like many other Americans. The mouse s house
is destroyed when the farmer above his house plows the land. The mouse in the
poem is left with nothing and is on his own. Now he will either die or find a new a
house. Reading the poem, I was able to infer that he wouldn t be getting back to
where he was in life and that he is most likely going to die. I was able to make my
inference from To a Mouse . The best laid schemes of mice and men often go askew .

20. Description Of The Reference Voltage Vector
Referring to Fig. 1(ii), consider in region II, the reference voltage vector is
following the arc x1x2 at a particular modulation index m. The position of the
reference voltage vector is shown in Table 1. It shows that, depending on modulation
index value, the duration of stay within subsector 1 and subsector 2 changes.
Similarly, consider in region III, the reference voltage vector is following the arc

duration of stay within subsector 2,3 and 4 changes.

As the reference voltage vector is formed using discrete switching vectors, the

between applied switching vector and reference voltage vector results in the ripple in

Moneyless. Jobless. With such troubled times, it certainly did bring out the best and

Diabetic...
The most important method to control and prevent diabetic complications is self
care. In order to manage their diabetes successfully and reduce risk factors leading to
mortality and morbidity associated with diabetes related complications, patients must
acquire and maintain self management skills for achieving adequate glycemic control,
blood lipids and blood pressure as well as weight management. Successful
management of diabetes requires patient s and family s awareness in achieving and
maintaining schedule for proper eye and foot care, meal plans, diet, barriers
preventing adequate physical activity, blood glucose monitoring and glycated
hemoglobin (A1C) checked. Numerous factors affect patients ability to achieve the
proper diabetic management goals, eg, self control, treatment prospects, health
beliefs, and extent of social support. Subsequently, diabetes management can be quite
complex, requiring lifelong commitment and drastic changes to the patient s lifestyle.
Lifestyle changes necessitated by approaches to management are often difficult to
implement and maintain. Psychosocial challenges Studies have revealed that subjects
diagnosed with diabetes have psychosocial challenges substantially affect their lives.3
Patients struggle with the loss of independence in decision making, predominantly in
food choices, and complain about worsening of their quality of life. Consequently
emotional factors play a major role in the diabetes management. People with diabetes

Dr. Pepper TEN the Manliest Low Calorie Soda in the History of Mankind. This
slogan is displayed at the end of every Dr. Pepper TEN commercial. During these
commercials a man is shown outdoors drinking Dr. Pepper TEN with the aid of the

man is manly and he drinks Dr. Pepper TEN because of its bold flavor but when
viewed under other lenses questions arise: How are the ideas of bold flavor and
manliness expressed in the commercial and how are they connected to the low
calorie soda?
The correlation between the bold flavor with low calories and the manliness ensued
is one of vagueness. While Dr. Pepper TEN identifies as both bold and manly they
lack an explicit definition in the commercial. This is done by the exaggerating the

During the dodge commercials we see a world where masculinity is defined by
technological mystery while during the Dr. Pepper TEN commercial we see it as

be attributed a couple of causes. At the time of the Dodge commercial society was
centered on the powerful and technologic devices that were rapidly advancing. This
pushed for masculinity to be that of a very technical idea. On the other side at the
time of the Dr. Pepper TEN commercial society had reached an understanding of the
complex technological world and were reaping the benefits that come with such
advancements. Dr. Pepper took this and redefined manliness as that of getting in

Christmas Eve Lasagna In our house lasagna is a dish made for special occasions,
my mom is the only one that makes it. Every year, before my grandfather passed
away, my mom would make lasagna for my brother, father, grandfather, and I. When
I was in elementary school my grandfather and grandmother got divorced, they
couldn t even be in the same room together. Therefore, in order to be able to spend
time with both of them during the holidays we would need to have two of each
holiday. Christmas Eveis when we would have Christmaswith my grandfather.
Lasagna isn t just my favorite meal because it tastes good, it is the memories of my
grandfather s strength and fight that are associated with it that makes the meal
special. People often said that wherever my grandfather went he always made new
friends or enemies. This explains his personality perfectly, he always made an
everlasting impression, not afraid to voice his opinions. When I was around him
he was always telling stories about his days of playing minor league baseball under
the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins organizations or his days of being a
K9 trooper for the New Hampshire State Police. He was someone that I admired
and loved being around. Some of the best memories are the ones where we are
sitting around the table on Christmas Eve eating our lasagna and munching on some
garlic bread. Everything changed when he became sick, but he was a fighter. My

Robert F. Kennedy (1925 1968)
So many times in the past, those of us who have stood up for the rights of the human
race, who have proposed and even implemented change, have been liked by a
majority but through the hatred of the minority they are destroyed. Sometimes this
destruction is literal, for example assassination. This was the case for Robert F.
Kennedy, born on November 20th, 1925 and who died on June 5th, 1968, with three
bullet wounds to his chest. This is who I will be talking about today.

I believe that the different characteristics that helped Robert F. Kennedy rise and
become a powerful leader in the society that he lived in were that: * He was a
persuasive speaker who used his charisma and honesty to gain the trust of the
nation. * He was determined and this allowed for him to reach the multitude of
goals that he set for himself, for example without this determination RFK would
never have been able to implement any change in relation to the abolishment of
racism in the Civil Rights Movement or the increased convictions of organised
crime. * Through goal setting and planning, RFK was able to be a visionary and
look at the big picture as well as try and achieve his goals through determination,
assertiveness and proper resource management. For example, the increased
convictions of organised crime would not have been achieved without RFK setting
his goal and originally having the dream of alerting the American people of the
corruptness of the Mafia. * RFK had the ability to work collaboratively with others,
and although many cried nepotism when his brother gave him the position of
Attorney General, through the brothers cooperation and cohesiveness they actually
achieved so much for the U.S. Shoulder to shoulder these two great men lead the U.S.
27. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Image Segmentation
Image Segmentation Image segmentation attempts to separate an image into its
object classes. Clustering methods, edge based methods, histogram based methods,
and region growing methods offer different advantages and disadvantages. The use
of a Gaussian mixture expectation maximization (EM) method has been
investigated to realize segmentation specifically for x ray luggage scans [131].
Namely, k Gaussian distributions are added to best fit the image histogram, with
each Gaussian distribution corresponding to its own object class. In an x ray image,
high density objects absorb more x ray photons and appear more intensely than low
density objects. In a typical x ray luggage scan image, there will generally be a mix
of low density, medium density, and high density objects. Because of this
characteristic, an image segmentation algorithm which requires knowledge of the
number of partitions in the segmentation, such as in EM segmentation, is still a
viable and perhaps even favorable method. By segmenting an x ray image... Show

Both methods work on a 64x64 input window to extract feature and start by first
determining edges oriented at 0, 90, 45, and 45 degrees. In a method known as
cell edge distribution (CED), each 64x64 edge map is divided into 16 16x16 cells,
and the number of edge pixels in each of these cells is counted. In another method
known as principal projected edge distribution (PPED), edge pixels are counted
along the orientation of the edge map. For example, edge pixels in a horizontal
edge map are counted by counting the number of edge pixels in every 4 rows of the
edge map. The result of either feature extraction method is a 64 element feature
vector. A third suggested feature vector is a simple concatenation of CED and PPED
feature vectors into a 128 element feature vector simply referred to as
28. Dictatorship In Lord Of The Flies
Lord of the Flies William Golding s novel, Lord of the flies is about how a plane
that was carrying young military school boy crashes on an island. The pilot is
killed but the many boys that survive the crash, find themselves on a deserted
island with no supervision. The author uses Jack who is one of the main characters
as the dictator and one of the authority figures. Therefore, Jack has total control of
people who follow him. Jacks rebellious actions were cruel and unacceptable. An
example of that is when he killed Simon with his group because they didn t even
bother to look if he is the monster or not. In the story Jack s group is stronger and
Ralph s is weaker which leads to a lot of conflicts and lives being taken. An example
of dictatorship is when Simon finds out that the captain is dead and tries to go tell
the other boys but, they follow him and killhim cruelly. Another example is when
Piggy was talking and trying to tell the groups that they should unite or they might
be stuck on that island forever, one of the former members of Jack s group kicked
down a huge piece of rock which hit Piggy and took his life. The other things that

Because, dictators have always been selfish by making decisions that affect a large
amount of people (usually in a bad way) and they have total control over everything
which makes them free to do anything and everything they want and the author is
telling us that. The difference between a democracy and a dictatorship is that in a
democracy everyone gets a vote but, in dictatorship only one person get a vote and
that leads to people not being happy with where they live and how their government
is growing as a dictatorship. Therefore, I agree with William Goldingbecause I think
that dictatorship is cruel and should not be tolerated because it can lead to people
losing their lives and the country to being in
29. Social Network Sites and Social Interaction
Introduction Literature Review Human beings are social beings and as such,
social interaction with others is crucial to one s definition, and perception of the
self. Social interaction happens everyday, and there are many components that
work collaboratively in order to make these encounters flow in a smooth manner
(Goffman). Everyone engages in what Goffman called impression management
(IM) and this is which means that every participant in a social interaction defines
the situation with the information that is being exchanged, and this information is
modified in a way that allows individuals to obtain a desired reaction from others.
There are various tactics of IM and one of them is called self presentation. Self
presentation encompasses all of the efforts individuals make in order to influence
others perceptions of themselves (cite). Early scholars such as Goffman referred
to these practices as happening on a face to face basis. However, as society
adopted SNSs, social interaction as well as IM, and self presentation have also
been adapted into the virtual world, and so all of the WEB s a stage (cite). Social
network sites is defined as web based services that allow individuals to (1) construct
a public or semi public profile within a bounded system, (2) articulate a list of other
users with whom they share a connection, and (3) view and traverse their list of
connections and those made by others within the system (cite, real). Social network

teaching me how to pronounce through many methods she acquired. I learned
through the sonic phonic, by people around me like my older sister, who knew how
to speak English already by the time I started, and by reading numerous books. The
various ways I learned English, were the stepping stones for enhancing my knowledge
of the Spanish language. My mom started with what is called the sonic phonic
which is the pronunciation of the ABC s; this is how she taught me to read
through the process. We would go the public library weekly and get various books
for me to read. I would take picture books, but her choices were actual books with
words. It commenced with her reading to me and sounding out the words, then
when I gained confidence with the language, I started reading the books to her. In
this form, my choppy way of speaking began to disappear. Before bedtime, she
would lay next to me and read perpetually. There would be nights where we were
drained, eventually we fell asleep, but we kept up with the reading for the next
night. Our book collection was so massive, it took 2 baskets full to carry the books
which laid right next to my bed. We collected tremendously, in occasions we forgot to

According to me the main reason is when they came into existence they didn t have
any competitors all they need to do is manufacturing and selling of the car. As I have
stated earlier before 80s Indian automobile market was seller s market which means
manufacturing companies have the command on the market not the customers.
Having customer s command on the market is essential otherwise the development
stops. The same thing happened, ambassador remains the same car as it was when it
was first introduced. Hindustan Motors didn t promote the car because as a single
Indian car it was already famous. Distribution was not that much difficult because car
owners were few. The price of the ambassador was relatively high because those who
needed the car didn t have another option. Also the government rules on importing the
components were harsh and company was paying high prices for them. It seems
obvious what the company did during those years. But when the scenario changed
during 90s the market became open to all the government rules became soft and lots
of other car manufacturers jumped into the Indian automobile market. This was the
time when the ambassador should have changed its strategies. However they didn t
make considerable changes on the other side new companies like Maruti Suzuki got
the nerve of an Indian customer and introduced cheapest car in the market. Due to
this drastic change once giant Hindustan Motors has become a company in loss with
one of its most successful car an ambassador in

Week 2 Assignment: Communication
Tia Durkin

15 January, 2016
Communication is the cornerstone of any relationship, but between parent and child
it is both unique and special. It is forged and developed through love and a special
bond that can only be understood by them. It begins before a child is even born, and
continues through their life. Communication is how we make our thoughts, feelings,
needs, and thoughts known. As babies, children convey this through cries and
sounds; and is often best known by their parents who seem to know which cry and
sound mean different things. It is imperative that this strong level of communication
is fostered in a positive way, throughout their childhood. Having the ability to
communicate effectively with our children is not only beneficial for them, but the
entire family dynamic. A good majority of parents want what is best for their
children, when communication is positive and reciprocal then it is reasonable to say
that the relationship matches. This is why when parents are uninvolved or neglectful,
we behavioral issues and a strong lack of respect from the child. In authoritative
home, parents are still in charge, but they have a sense of mutual respect between
them and their children. The proof is in the outcomes in these homes. Children have a
tendency to be happier, respectful of others, better in school, and have a greater
ability to form meaningful

Dissecting Clarke s Cosmological Argument
In the following paper, I will outline Samuel Clarke s Modern Formulation of the
Cosmological Argument and restate some of the points that he makes. Samuel Clarke
s argument for the existence of God states that There has existed from eternity some
one unchangeable and independent being (37). The argument follows a logical flow
and can be better understood when the structure is laid out and the argument
reconstructed.
Clarke begins his argument with a use of disjunctive syllogism, a form of valid
logical reasoning that proposes two outcomes, denies one, and thus proves the other
to be true. Clarke s premise states that one of the two following statements must be
true: either there has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He states that since the series of dependent beings couldn t be caused by any external
or internal source, that it would have to be cause absolutely by nothing . He then
states that this is a contradiction to be done in time; and because duration in this case
makes no difference. He also states that it is a contradiction to suppose it done from
eternity. Since the universe has parts that come into existence at one occasion and not
another, it must have a cause. There could supposedly be an infinite regress of
causes if there was evidence for such, but lacking such evidence, God must exist as
the cause.Clarke does not specifically identify God at any point in his argument. He
ends with There must be on the contrary, of necessity have existed from eternity,
some one immutable and independent Being (37). Whatever one chooses to call this
Being , it is the one unchangeable and independent being that Clarke attempts to
prove the existence of in his argument.

As Causes for the 2003 US Iraq War Many factors went into the decision of United

various classical and modern theories on the causes of war between states. Though
there are several stances and viewpoints on the righteousness or legality of the war
on Iraq, an objective eye will notice that the real factors for going to war are neither
grounded in righteousness nor law. They involve the maintenance of peace and power

Should the liberal state accomplish its goal of helping to establish a liberal state in
the foreign country then it will be one condition closer to establishing a state of
perpetual peace with that state from that point on. The tensions that exist between
liberal and non liberal states comes from the idea that autocratic non republican
states are much more likely to go to war over reasons that would not spur a liberal
state towards the same ends. Doyle states in his 1986 essay, Liberalism and World
Politics,
Liberal states have been attacked and threatened by non liberal states that do not
exercise any special restraint in their dealings with the liberal states. Authoritarian
rulers both stimulate and respond to an international political environment in which
conflicts of prestige, interest, and pure fear of what other states might do all lead
states toward war, [Doyle 1986, 296].
Doyle explains that the fears and egos of non liberal rulers can easily lead them
towards war. These same fears and egos can be checked by a liberal republican state
structure. Should a liberal state notice this aggression and fear within a foreign state,
and if the foreign state is becoming too powerful and threatens its existence, then
there may be cause for the liberal state to make a preventive strike against the
threatening non liberal nation. Preventive wars are commonly thought of as a
product of Hegemonic Stability Theory. Hegemonic Stability Theory

Abstract
We all wonder what the words life, liberty, and property derived from. In this paper I
will be explaining what due process is and how it relates to life, liberty, and property.
I will also explain where due process came from and what 2 amendments relate to
due process. Before we start though I would like you to know that due process is
there to protect the defendant under proving guilty.
Define due process and its origin? Due process refers to a set of established legal
principles, derived from the Constitution, that seek to protect the rights if citizens. It
is done to insure that the government treats all the individuals properly and does not

Substantive refers to the specific rights being denied, even if the process is
deemed fair. Actions are taken by the state in a process that would be considered
fair, but could still be challenged on the basis that it improperly denies a right.
Substantive is which includes all your basic amendment rights. An example could
be Griswold vs. Connecticut (1995). Connecticut law made it illegal for doctors to
dispense birth control to their patients. The court ruled that the law violated the
Constitution not because it was passed or applied improperly, but because it
denied that patients their right to privacy. Another example could be the law that
Pennsylvania has that everyone that wants to vote will need to show a valid ID to
prove that no laws are being broken. This applies because it goes against a person
right to speech and freedom. One good example I like to think due process came
from was from the Bible on the Garden of Eden, because God did not immediately
punish them. The first thing that God did was ask Where art thou Adam? Thereby
giving him notice. God gave him a chance to be heard by asking Didn t thou eat the
forbidden fruit (The Beginning, 2007)? In my options this in when due process
came into affects; no one would like to relate due process to the Garden of Eden time.

the political setup of two countries a good understanding of the different systems is
easily seen. The fall of Communism in many parts of the world has triggered
countries like Russia to create new political systems and political parties. This also
changes the functioning of the economy and the military. Likewise in India, changes
are almost seen daily in the ruling of the country. Comparing and contrasting these
two countries involves many areas including the political parties, legislative branch
and the executive branch. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The communists get support only when the outlook for the economy is bad and
fear of unemployment is affecting many workers. (Palmer, 346) The last of these
parties is the fascist party called the Liberal Democratic Party. This party platform
stated in 1993 elections, calling for a strong army, continued government
management of Russia s industries, liquidation of the 5000 gangs that control the
economy, arm sales to any country or group that wants the buy them, deportation
of non Russians, avoiding mistakes of Hitler in dealing with the West, nuking the
Japanese if they continued to pressure Russia to give back some small islands
occupied since the end of World War II, a strong dose of anti Semitism, and finding
husbands for all unmarried women. (Palmer, 346) Like Russia, India has several
parties in its Democratic system including: The Congress Party, The Bharatiya
Janata Party, and The Third Front. India for a long time was considered a single
party Democracy and the Congress party ruled for about fifty years. (Palmer, 453)
The Congress party used these four items to gain support: charisma of Nehru and
Gandhi, the independence movement, the party s broad base in the local way of life
and the ability to take in a great range of regional, ideological and communal groups.
(Palmer, 453) The Bharatiya Janata Party is a rising group that
40. Domestic Violence And Its Effects On Society
Domestic violence can be described as authority misused by one person in a
relationship to control the other. It is the establishment of fear and control in one s
relationship through violence and other forms of abuse. Domestic violence can be in
a form of physical assault, sexual assault, social abuse, psychological abuse, and
financial abuse. The occurrence of the violencecan be sometimes on and off,
occasional or long lasting. Many may confuse the term domestic violenceas a simple
argument, but that is not true. Domestic violence is a pattern of using threats and
force to make someone do something. Many abusers use threats, physical and sexual
violence, emotional insults and economic deprivation as a way to dominate their...

Wife beating was similar to rape or abortion back then, it was viewed as a private
and shameful act, that s why only a few women discussed their issue.
Men hit women with immunity until feminist activists renamed wife beating as
domestic violence, and described its victims as battered women. Many women
searched for help all around, they needed protection. Activists created a system of
shelters for women who tried to escape, often with their children, because the
violence threatened by their spouse.
Congressional passage of violence against women act was ultimately spurred on by
decades of growing unease over the rising violent crime rate and a focus on women as
crime victims. Beginning in the 1960s, the violent crime rate rose steadily, igniting
concern from both the public and the federal government. Supplementing the concern
for the nation s rising violent crime rate was the concern for violence against women.
In the 1970s, grassroots organizations began to stress the need for attitudinal change
regarding violence against women. These organizations sought a change in attitude
among both the public as well as the law enforcement community.
During the 1970 s, feminists tried to reach out and teach women that violence was
wrong and that they had the right to be free from it. We will not be beaten became
the slogan of the
41. William Shakespeare s Mandate
William Shakespeare was born in Stratford upon Avon, a flourishing town in
central England with a population of two thousand at the time. He was born to
Mary Arden, a local heiress, and John Shakespeare, a leather merchant and town
bailiff, who both had been long time residents of the town. While the exact date of
his birth is unknown, it is estimated that Shakespeare s birthdate is or was around
the 23rd of April, 1564, because of a record of his baptization three days later;
children were baptized as early as possible during this time, around three days after
their birth. He had eight siblings: five younger brothers and sisters, named Gilbert,
Richard, Edmund, Joan, and Ann, and three others that died during their births. From
an early age, Shakespeare was given an intense education in comparison to other
children during his time. His parents never received any education, and because of
this they strived to give their children excellent educations. Shakespeare attended
Stratford upon Avons grammar school, the King s New School, which he received
free attendance to because of his father s status as a bailiff of the town. During his
time at the school, Shakespeare learned the grammar and alphabets of English and
Latin and read... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He first began writing comedies such as The Taming of the Shrew and , which
garnered early success and popularity for him, so much so that rival playwrights
began furiously criticizing Shakespeare in jealousy. In 1592, Robert Greene wrote
on his deathbed that Shakespeare was an upstart crow, beautified with our
feathers, that with his tiger s heart wrapped in a player s hide, supposes he is as well
able to bombast out a blank verse as the best of you. Ironically, the records of these
criticisms are the only evidence that we have of Shakespeare s popularity in the early
42. Consequences Of Nursing School Student Plagiarism
Nursing School Student Plagiarism
Plagiarism is defined as the presentation of work for credit that is not [a writer s]
own (Johanson, 2010, p. 267). The information obtained by a writer from another
source should be cited in the text and referenced when paraphrasing or quoting
another author s material (APA, 2010). Student plagiarism can be avoided by using
electronic resources or software to prevent unintentional plagiarism, educating
students on how to properly cite and reference material in an academic writing, and
providing information to students about the consequences of plagiarizing.
Plagiarism Case Plagiarism cases can provide insight on the dire consequences
that can occur if a student is caught plagiarizing within an academic setting. A
former student of Rutgers University, Amanda Serpico, was accused by her
professor of plagiarizing on her opinion paper in her argumentation class (Bailey,
2011). Amanda received credit for using citations in a majority of the paper and
providing the sources in the reference section, but she did not properly cite at least
three verbatim passages that she used within her work (Bailey, 2011). Amanda
utilized Turnitin software to review her paper and to detect plagiarism before
turning in the assignment for grading to her professor (Bailey, 2011). The
plagiarism accusation resulted in Amanda receiving a failing grade on the paper, a
failing grade in the course, and being denied admission to several graduate schools.

43. Terrorist Attacks
Introduction Within the last year the United States has been exposed to many
terrorist attacks and threats that could or has harm the American people. The attacks
range from mass shooting to suicide bomber to truck raining over pedestrians. Not to
mention, just recently on 11 December 17 there was an attempted bomber in New
York; its just to show that there is no end of stoping terrorismfrom happening,
however, the American people can find a way to prevent the next terrorist attacks or
threats from happening by increase security measure and predicting the when can the
next attack through statistics calculations.
Research Question In this research paper it will identified the average number of
terrorist attacks per month in the US. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Also, the graph shows over the course of 30 months it displayed the skewness of the
graph to the right, which mean that more terrorist incident can be expected in the
near future.
Figure 2
Results As a results, from the data analysts more terrorist attack are happening
every year. The average number of attack can be expected to happen is once per
month, and especially during the holiday season where the terrorist attack are more
likely to increase. Furthermore, base from the graph it look like the spring time
frame is where there is a likely to none terrorist activity. Therefore, with all the season
combine together there is a positive trend of terrorist attack and that can affect the
mean and the standard deviation.
Conclusion In conclusion, the average number of terrorist incidents is about once per
month in the United States, and it s normally increase during the holiday and not so
much in the spring time. Nevertheless, with every problem that the United States
face their must be a solution, therefore, an increase of security measure is needed to
protect the American people and to reduce the average number of terrorist attack
from about one per month to zero. As the new year is approaching there is an
uncertainty of when the next attack will happen, but how can the United State
prepare to fend off those attack to project its people? The answer still remains
unknown and wait for the future to
44. When Doctors Make Mistakes, By Atul Gawande, And
Columbia...
Communication is an essential tool needed to advance several major processes in
society. According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary, communication is the act or
process of using words, sounds, songs, or behaviors to express your ideas, thoughts,
and feelings to someone else. Such interaction between human being is significant
due to the innate fact that we as humans are social beings. Communicationnot only
aids human beings in expressing ideologies, but in everyday duties such as
education, work, medical care, and other key aspects. A lack of communication is
dangerous in many circumstances. In two essays, When Doctors Make Mistakes , by
Atul Gawande, and Columbia s Last Flight, by William Langewiesche the reader can
perceive how a lack of communication can be lethal.
In the medical field, precision is of the utmost importance when it comes to
successfully ensuring that the job is done. Even the slightest mistake can be lethal,
making communication vital in the medical field. A group of doctors and nurses
must communicate and act like a single unit to complete the procedure. In When
Doctors Make Mistake , the author, Atul Gawande, recalls a case where his team
worked on a specific crash victim and the breathing tube could not fit in the trachea.
Due to a lack of communication, one of the staff members tried to force the tube
down the trachea causing more damage. In the essay, Gawande assesses the situation
and agrees with his team to bring in a specialist to solve the

What makes the company s market brand strong in the US Is extensive customer
reach of the company s cable networks operations. It enables higher margins for the
company and highlights Walt Disney s appeal which facilitates better bargaining
power with multi channel video programming distributors, the primary revenue
source for Walt Disney. Additionally, the companies which have broader reach enjoy
higher pricing for the advertisement sales on the channels. Furthermore, the company
has a strong brand portfolio. The company has built a collection of some of the world
s best media brands that provide a lot of opportunities for the company to continue to
create high quality content. On the other hand, the company has few weaknesses.
First, what weakened the company because of internal negligence is unfunded
pension benefit obligation which forces the company to make additional cash
contributions which reduces cash flow available for growth initiatives. Second, the
company concentrates on matured markets such as the US and Canada that increases
the country specific risks to the company and restricts its growth opportunities

46. Texas Political Parties In The 20th Century
Texas is a unique state, with many defining characteristics that make up popular
perceptions cold glasses of sweet tea, southern drawls, oil and sun everywhere, and
Republican government. Of course, popular perceptions are often over wrought and
dragged out as with any thing popular, but one thing in those lists is certain, besides
the sweet tea, and it is that Republicans have dominated the political scene for the
last several decades. From a humble mid 19th century beginning to the rise of the
party in the 20th century, their history is rich yet slow moving. Economic and social
issues have all played into the right winged dominance that persists today, however,
they are also what will most likely fuel the next impending political party shift in
Texasthat seems to inch closer each year. According to the Texas GOP s website,
the Republican Party was established in opposition to the Kansas Nebraska Bill by
a collection of Mid Western abolitionists in 1845. The proposed bill would give new
territories a choice in whether slavery was allowed or banned in the area. Democrats

election to former President John F. Kennedy that they gained a bit of recognition.

across the state and country, being elected governor and senate positions more than
ever before. By the 1980s, Texas had undergone a complete political realignment that
swung Republican, and they continued to gain steam in the 1990s with election of
George W. Bush to state governor, and then President of the United States. By the
early 2000s, the party had gained majority in the State Senate and in county
governments, and they continue to be a dominating force in
47. Oil Drilling In Western Australia
Through the use of advanced technologies, geologists have the capability to predict
potential locations for oil. This is done by the examination of the structure of rock
layers, which is then followed by a test drill in the Earth s surface. Not every
location that gets examined contain commercially viable oil reserves as some
locations will have no oil or gas, some will have tiny amounts, and others will have
the oil present but it will still be trapped within the porous rock layers such as oil shale
. The earth s crust plates are constantly on the move, and the oil reserves migrate
with them. The reason a lot of the oil drilling occurs at sea is particulurarly because
the majority of the crust of the planet, under which the oil is located,... Show more

Therefore, the search for potential petroleum reserves can conclude that petroleum
may be accumulated within these porous rocks. The rifting of the continents of the
world began over 160 million years ago. During this first phase of rifting, Middle
Jurassic to Early Cretaceous, a small fragment of crust, Argoland, separated itself
from a section of the northwest coast of Western Australia occupied by the
Canning Basin. It did so by active seafloor spreading in turn allowing the sea to
flood the basin. The seafloor that resulted from this spreading is known as the
Argo Abyssal Plain. Plant material was therefore deposited in the troughs
associated with the rifting and was the source of the Northwest Shelf s oil and gas
deposits. Petroleum that is sourced from Bass Strait is found in the Gippsland
Basin (Figure. Basin s in the area were commonly discovered in the 1960 s, and
were found to contain oil that is produced from the Cretaceous Eocene clastic rocks
of the Latrobe Group. This oil was found to have been deposited also with the rifting
of the continents, specifically the break up of Australia and Antarctica. Therefore,
because of the location of sedimentary rocks predominant around Western Australia
and Bass Strait, geologists can conclude it as being a potential place to search for
48. Interpreting Henry In The Film Regarding Henry
In Regarding Henry, the main character Henry is shot and has major memory loss.
As a successful lawyer, he must completely start over with his family and work
life. It is an extremely traumatic experience for Henry and his family and
coworkers, who are a key part of Henry s life. Henry s natural state, Id, can be
demonstrated in the introduction of the movie before his fatal injury. As we are
introduced to Henry, we see him as a superficial businessman with a short temper.
His life is full of wealth and parties. In a specific scene we see Henry talking to his
daughter very irritably. This represents his Id taking over before he speaks to his
daughter, someone he loves and cares for. Moreover, when Henry goes into the

49. Elizabethe Er Crime And Punishment In The Elizabethan
Era
Elizabethan Crime and Punishment Elizabethan crime and punishment was brutal
compared to today s crime and punishment. There were public executions that many
people took a day off of their jobs to go see.Torture devices were a big part of
Elizabethan Crime and Punishment. There was a specific punishment for everything
from begging to high treason. If a peasant stole anything worth more than five pence
which was the currency of the time period they were hanged, anyone who committed
a capital offense was quartered, and the queen s guards were not allowed to wear
cloaks.Crime and punishment of the Elizabethan era was brutal and ruthless
compared to this day in time. Every common crime in Elizabethan England had a
punishment that was specific to the crime. The most common crimes were theft, cut
purses,begging,poaching,adultery,debtors,forgers,fraud,and dice coggers.Begging for
money was considered a minor crime and the consequence for it was being hanged. If
you committed a capital offense you would be quartered, which is when they were
hung and then cut into four pieces. The most common crimes were high treason,
alchemy, sedition, witchcraft, spying, rebellion, blasphemy, and murder. The
punishment that you got from committing the crime you did was very affected by
what class you were in.The upper class did not get punished as much as the
peasants did.For example an upper class person would not get caught begging for
money how a peasant would because they are not in need of money how a
50. One Flew Over The Cuckoo s Nest Mental Illness Essay
There have been many horror movies produced with a mental illness as the reason
for all of the scary events that happen in the movie. This can be seen in many
popular horror movies such as Mirrors, where schizophrenia is reason why there is
a possessed demon killing its victims through mirrors, personality disorder in
Silence of the Lambs, and narcissistic personality disorder in Scarface. It is very
easy to demonize the mentally unwell because of their seemingly irrational
behaviors caused by mental illness. Therefore, I wanted to explore the portrayal of
mental illnesses in two non horror films. For my paper, I have decided to analyze
Shutter Island, a psychological thriller, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest, a
comedy drama film. Both Shutter Island and One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest

the ending scene where the institution gives him the lobotomy to control him forever.
Nicolson s character is not actually mentally ill, but he pretends he has a mental

51. My Learning Experience
In the last year, I have moved from New Jersey to New York to Iowa. Moving away
from your family is hard, but can be done by having a strong relationship with
people and good friends. Moving multiple times for the same reason, hockey, can
be mentally and physically tough, but the outcome and experiences that you will
encounter will make up for it. Moving is hard but can be overcome and can be
viewed as a learning experience. Being born and raised in New Jerseyhas impacted
my life in a very special way. From kindergarten through eighth grade, I was in the
same school called St. Paul s, which is located in Princeton. I made some amazing
friends during my time in middle school. During this time, I was playing hockey for
a team called The Little Flyers, which was just outside of Pennsylvania. We were a
remarkable team that won many games and championships over the years. The coach
was a former player in the National Hockey Leaguenamed Stephane Charbonneau.
He was a special coach who had exceptional advice and knowledge of the game. Two
days out of the week, when I did not have team practice, I would have goaltending
lesson with a goaltending coach named George Bosak. George is one of my favorite
goalie coaches I have ever worked with. He has so much knowledge and love for the
game. After eighth grade when I graduated from St. Paul s, I had to make a decision:
stay and play high schoolhockey, go to Buffalo, New York or go to Canton Michigan
to play and develop my skills as
