1. Audience research<br />22860081915<br />We looked at the audience feedback from Half in Love with Elizabeth to establish what an indie audience would expect. When looking at the feedback we found that the re-occurring theme was that the lead singer looked like Edward Scissors hands and that this was viewed in a positive light. This therefore suggests that the indie audience prefers unconventional videos and are not bothered by aesthetically pleasing videos . We therefore decided that we would use an unconventional theme that was not based around pleasing the audience with aesthetics <br />We also looked at the feedback from The Strokes ‘Last Night’ as the Strokes are considered a more rebellious <br />01042670078105<br />We found that one of the aspects that the audience commented on was the fact that the band liked drinking and was often drunk suggesting that an indie audience glorifies rebellious and unsociable behaviour as it is viewed as humerous. We have decided not to use the glorication of alcohol despite it is expected from the audience as we believed it did not promote a healthy message however we have decided to use the idea of anti-social behaviour but in a less immitigable way <br />We also looked at the Libertines ‘don’t look back into the sun’ as The Libertines are considered to be one of the first indie bands <br />-228600149860<br />092075<br />-22860084455<br />From this response from an indie audience we found that surprisingly they did not condone the taking of drugs , however they condone the drinking of alcohol. We also discovered that indie bands have a big influence on the way their audiences dress (seem in the comments above). We have decided that we will reflect the indie style of dress within our video however we have decided to keep these influences subtle so that it doesn’t deviate from the main focus of the video <br />
