The document contains reviews from multiple people of a short thriller film created by Lizzie Garrard and Sophie Johnston. The reviews praise the film's creepy atmosphere created through sinister music, sound effects and camera shots. Specifically highlighted are a tense opening shot of the main character's face, low shots showing characters' power, and a plot twist switching the main character from victim to villain. While some found titles distracting, most said they would see the film in theaters and were impressed it was made using only phones and iPads.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. “I really liked the music, very sinister and tense. Also the sound
effects of the phone and the creaking gate was very creepy. I also
loved the shot of the girls face at the start and end, that was a
good to way to suggest she is the main character. One of my
favourite parts was the journey of the girl walking to the setting,
that was very tense with the use of the footsteps. Another
favourite part for me was the low shot you used when looking at
the three girls as that really showed their original power and
authority. The candles at the beginning made me question what
was going on, at first I thought it had romantic connotations but
the other shots told me that it was something to do with spells/
witches.Tension was there throughout really, but I gasped twice at
the blood at the end so I would definitely go to watch this in the
cinema, it was very good and very foreboding. “
3. “ Brilliant! I really liked the variety of shots
you used, especially the high angle one and
the POV shot. It kind of suggested it was real
to some extent which was very effective. But I
have to say, at some points the titles were
slightly distracting however the storyline was
still very exciting. I would certainly go to
watch the rest in the cinema to find out what
will happen next to Lizzie!”
4. “It had witches in it so it was stereotypical of
a supernatural thriller and it was really
creepy. I was on the edge of my seat and
would definitely go to watch this in the
cinema, it was really tense and I don’t think I
could say anything negative about it. Lizzie’s
acting was very sassy.”
5. “I loved the plot-twist as it switches the roles
of Lizzie’s character from victim to villain.
Also the different angles of the shots you
used are really great as they created an
effectively creepy atmosphere. However I
may not go to the cinema to watch it because
I don’t normally like thrillers, I prefer
comedies but it was great.”
6. “I really enjoyed the whole thing, it’s really
clever how you have edited and filmed this on
just an iPhone and iPad.The different angled
shots used really look like Lizzie is being
followed and the POV shot really put me in
Lizzie’s shoes. Overall I think the thriller is
really entertaining and I would definitely go
and see it in cinema.”
7. “I thought the thriller was actually really
creepy! It made me jump a couple of times. I
really like how the end and beginning shot of
Lizzie was the same except the beginning
shot she was innocent and the end shot
showed that she clearly wasn’t anymore;
really cleverly directed.Tell me when it’s in
cinema!”
8. “I have watched many of these media thrillers
now, and I think that this one is one of the
most original I've seen. I like how you
combined the old fashioned tradition of a
séance with the modern technology of the
smart phone and made it work. The shot with
the breath over the phone to show Lizzie
being possessed worked really well also, see
you don’t need all that professional
equipment!Well done girls.”
