2. As it stands i would like to make a teaser trailer
for a horror/thriller film. I have been coming
up with many ideas in my head for it and
seems the right way for me to go.
The main idea of it is the killings of a serial
killer and will have a similar theme to the
Hannibal lector films. I say this because of
the slow music and build up. I want to
follow the theme of these films because
they aren't just senseless murders; the
murders are well thought out and Hannibal
himself is a very intellectual and isn't made
out to be an insane individual.

3. The plot to my film is of a deranged school child- gone serial
killer, who has grown to hate everyone in his school after
years of bullying. One day he just snaps and decides he’s
going to do something about it. His first victim will be
Sazi(mentioned in my blog), he goes for her because she is
the girlfriend of the main bully and he wants to cause him
as much suffering as possible. He has lost all sense of right
and wrong but due to his intellectual mind he doesn't just
go around with a knife stabbing them, in fact he has
come up with specific way of killing each of them.
Yes it does seem like your average boring horror but the twists
behind the deaths and him being able to evade being
caught adds something special has he isn't even
suspected right up until he wants to get caught.

4. There is a chance either I or Paul will be playing the
deranged school kid. I say this because it will be hard to
describe to someone how I want him to act and behave .
I may use my friend Paul as he is allot taller then me and
would look like more of a physical presence, and this
would allow him to look more threatening
I will be using Sazi as a the female victim because she looks
like such an innocent girl by the looks of her but she also
has the ability to act mean.
I am also using my friend Esteban because he is willing to act
however is needed for my trailer. He can act
bad, scared, happy, sad and just about anyway I ask him
to.
I will also have some extra’s in there but they haven't been
decided as of yet.

5. Sazi will play the character of Shaniqua. I’m using this
name as it is stereo typically ‘ghetto’ name and Sazi will be
playing a ‘ghetto-ish’ style character. I am also using Sazi
as she is a very attractive girl and she will attract the male
audience using the ‘male gaze theory’.
Shaniqua is the type of girl to encourage bad
behaviour, hence the reason she is with the bully of the
school and gets her happiness from seeing others suffer

6. Paul will most likely be playing the
killer of my movie.
The killers name is Mason and has
been subjected to
Severe bulling ever since he has
primary school. He has
Been seen as an outsider by his peers
and this made him
Become a very secluded person up
and always just let the
Bullying slide and never made a
peep about it until he snaps.

7. Esteban is playing Jesús
who is sort of the bullies
main man, he isn't as
harsh as him in terms of
the bullying but does
pick on Mason a fair bit.
He has never been a shy
type of person and does
like to be at the centre of
attention to make himself
look like a ‘big man’.

8. Marcio shall be playing Junior. Junior is
the bully and the main reason for the
mental breakdown of mason. Junior has
been a bully all his life and followed
mason from primary school to secondary
school all the way through to sixth form
just to ruin his life and make sure it stays a
misery. There is no reason for him doing
this other then to cause him harm. He
grew up in a run down estate and had
to grow up fast and fend for him self as
his mum is a coke head and his dad left
before he was born. The only person in
the world he has a soft spot for is his girl
friend, Shaniqua, the only other people
that matter to him is his mum and Jesús.
Everyone else in his life has let him down
and all these factors lead up to the way
he is now.

9. I am looking to use an instrumental from a
song called ‘dance with the devil’ by
immortal technique. I am using this
because it reminds me of the piano
playing in the Hannibal film. And as I
mentioned in my blog I’m looking to use
aspects of that specific film.

10. At the moment I have only decided one scene
that will defiantly happen in the trailer and that
will be the opening. It will open with the
camera fading into a boys lifeless face on the
floor and as it pans away showing what has
happened it will show the blood from his head
all over the floor and the boy dead on the
floor. This scene here would actually be near
the end of the actual film but I want to use it
for the beginning of the trailer because it shows
the audience what is going to happen but
when they already know this, it will make them
interested as to what happens and it
automatically attracts the audiences attention.

11. For my trailer there wont be any speech
involved what so ever as u feel for my trailer
it only ruins the suspense and atmosphere
I'm going to be trying to build for it.
If I feel at a later stage that I might add some
in I will give it a go. Or I might try the trailer
with some speech and make it without one
to see which one I prefer.
In the case of a scream or door creaking or
something like that I plan to use a pre
recorded template to make sure the sound
quality is perfect.
