interest into short films. As well as this, audiences could be fragmented, as it is
common for short films to be consumed on different platforms/media outlets (e.g.
YouTube)
• Although the type of audience is established, it is also commonly ‘found for you’.
For example, as short films are driven on the narrative, the genre is only really
established afterwards. If short films are then registered into a short film festival,
they would be categorised by that genre the audience for that particular genre
would also be your target audience.
