Marcus meets his soulmate Lucy in college and his world suddenly bursts into color. However, years later while working in his office, Marcus' world reverts back to black and white. He learns on the news that Lucy was involved in a bank robbery and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance that passed by his office. The short film will explore the concept of seeing color only when you meet your soulmate, and will use flashbacks and voiceovers to tell the story of Marcus and Lucy's relationship and how her hospitalization caused Marcus' world to turn black and white again.

2. Logline of “Grey”
• The world is black and white until you meet your soulmate. Lucy changed
Marcus’s life from an encounter at college, but will it stay like that forever?

4. Extended plot.
• The opening scene is in an office of the main character Marcus and is
colleague, Pete.
• Marcus can see colour but Pete cannot so he begins to ask what colours are
like.
• Flashback to when Marcus and Lucy met in college.
• As Marcus gets to know Lucy his life starts turning to colour and realises
that he has found his soulmate.
• Back to the office, Pete is still asking about colour and Marcus is trying to
explain it and joke about getting fired and suddenly Marcus cannot see
colour anymore. News on tv about bank robbery.
• Ambulance goes past the office.

with Lucy.
